Soleil Floors

I was really looking forward to getting new carpet and thought I’d done my due diligence in finding a company to do the installation. Unfortunately, it’s turned into a situation where I had serious problems with the carpet and now they are ghosting me, no return calls, no return emails. After installation was finished, I noticed a pretty big bump where a seam was. The installer blamed Courtney, who measured the layout, she blamed the manufacturer, so in the end no one can tell me why the seams are all raised. The only recourse I was ever offered was to have other installers come out to “fix” the problem. All they did was beat the h*** out of the seams which did nothing at all except to make the problem worse. This stuff looks like it belongs in a warehouse. I went with Soleil to save a few bucks and now it looks like I’m going to have to forego something else and replace this carpet in another couple years because it looks so bad so I didn’t really save any money at all. The last I heard, they were going to get back to me and then crickets… I’m regretting choosing Soleil. The carpet looks terrible and now nobody will return my calls or answer my emails so I guess I’m stuck. I was happy to support a woman owned business but if they’re going to treat you like crap then I guess there’s not much advantage. I would think twice about employing these people, they talk the talk but once they have your money, you are in their rear view mirror when something goes wrong, and something went very wrong.

Very well. Finished in 2 days. On time in the morning and worked late each day. Next time I will request that they be done by 6 PM each day. I will also request they use a thicker sheet of plastic in the area they walk to and from the front door. The sheet they used was thin and tore easily exposing the wood flooring. Very hard working crew. The first day 3 came to remove the old tile. Once the tile was removed and the area prepped they reduced down to one person to install the new tile. He did an excellent job. Worked very hard and continuous.

Installation was one day and the they have their own installers. No sub contractor. Installers were punctual, courteous, and performed quality work.

Ben at Soleil had been recommended by a friend of mine who said "call Ben, he's not the cheapest but he will do a great job and you will not have any problems".
I took his advice and called Ben. Ben and the team at Solei are responsive, attentive, and are focused on the customer's satisfaction. I had Ben come out and give me a quote, and it took me 10 months to call him back. I finally picked tile out for the floor and the material for the fireplace face, and then changed my mind a couple of times. There was a lot of floor to tile, and I was worried that I would end up with an expensive and boring floor, or worse yet something that I would look at and see it as a mistake.  Through the entire process, Ben and Stephanie were very supportive and took each modification in stride. 
On the day the tile team was to show up, Richard and his team were on time. They moved furniture, appliances, removed an island in the kitchen per my request, removed toilets, and demo'ed the old flooring, smoothing and leveling the floor in prep for the tile. I work at home, and with a few exceptions due to noise in the house during the prep work, I was able to get my work done while they worked. They were polite, professional, and focused on doing a quality job. No loud music or shouting, no strong language. Richard and his team have been setting tiles for a long time. They take pride in their work and it shows. What I really like is that along the edge of the rooms against the walls, the tiles were fit under the edge of the baseboard molding so the tile looks like it extends under the walls. Beautiful. They laid the tile in a "hopscotch" pattern, which did add to the cost but for the large areas I ended up with a beautiful floor. Simple quality measurements....the grout lines lined up, there are no hollow voids under the tile, and because the tile had multiple shades and patterns that varied tile by tile, they were attentive to placement so I ended up with a beautiful job on the floor. The job took ~5 days.
The tile team set the toilets (doing a better job than a plumber I spent too much money on to set another toilet for me), put the appliances back in place, set them up, and moved all the furniture I wanted moved back at the time. When the tile team wrapped up, Ben sent in his carpet guys to stretch and re-fit the existing carpet to the floor, and the hardwood floor guys to set the transitions. 
I smile every time I walk on the floor...and given it is in the kitchen it means I have a good start to my day every day.
So overall, I can recommend Ben and his team at Soleil. In a word, they are great!

Amazing group from sales to installation.

This was the single best experience we have had on any work done at our home. The installation crew was extremely professional. They were perfectionists in the floor prep and installation. This led to an absolutely beautiful finished product. The owners were constantly checking in on the project to insure satisfaction. We are just thrilled with the outcome and would highly recommend Soleil Floors. We will not think about using anyone else if we need any other projects done.

Showed up on time, completed the job on schedule, went above and beyond to make sure that the job was done right and that I was happy.

Price: The price was about what we expected based on the square footage.  Not too high and not low.
Quality: We used this provider because the company that installed the same brand and color of flooring in our living and dining room no longer sold the matching brand and color.  I am satisfied with the flooring installation, because the installation was not quite as high-quality as the installation done by a competing flooring company when they put the same brand of flooring in our living and dining room:  There are some places where a hollow sound exists beneath the planks due to areas of the foundation that were not perfectly flat and were not completely filled with leveling compound.  I have read this is not a serious problem since it's not very extensive, but it's more prevalent an issue than with the flooring installed in our living and dining areas.  There are also a couple of places where planks were not pushed together end-to-end as tightly as they should have been by the installers and a business card can be inserted between the planks.  These issues are fairly minor and limited in scope.
Responsiveness: The company's installers did promptly come out to pump in some additional adhesive in a larger 2 ft x 3 ft spot where the planks visibly moved when walked on.  However, they did not offer any solution to the small gaps between planks and probably couldn't since the adhesive had cured by that time.  It isn't a big issue, but it showed some lack of attention to detail that the installers of our living and dining room flooring were a little more careful about.
Punctuality: The delivery truck broke down on the day the flooring installation was supposed to begin and this delayed the installation by a few days.
Professionalism: The installers did not have all the tools they needed and had to leave at least once to pick up the tools they had left behind.  This delayed the completion of the installation a bit more.

Soleil Floor came out and installed new carpet in 4 rooms on my home. Totalling excellent service from start to fiinsh. THey were prompt they were really friendly they did really good work. The owner even came out the next week to do a follow up and to make sure we were happy. I am 100% satisfied with the services performed

Overall they did a great job.  Fast and professional installers.
We wanted a solution that did not have us calling numerous different folks to resolve issues, etc.  Soleil provided a one-stop shop.  Others wanted to nickle and dime you for moving different furniture pieces, removing old carpet and such, so you really never know what the job would really cost.
Had really bad experiences with both Home Depot and Lowes and Soleil was a easy choice.

Ben was my point of contact for this project and was very quick to answer or return calls.  He came out to check the process and was able to explain and answer any question I had.  I would recommend Soleil Floors to my friends and family and I plan on using them again.  Polite, professional, and local.  What more can you ask for?

We could not be more pleased with the service provided by Soleil Floors.  From the beginning when we discussed our requirements for the flooring, the selection of the product, Ben arriving at the appointed time to make the estimate, then the proposal, through the installation and completion of the project, everything ran very smoothly.  Victor and his crew of workers were efficient and professonal.  They worked through the day, taking minimal breaks, cleaning up as they worked. Victor made sure we knew everything the crew was doing throughout the installation.  Any questions were answered quickly and to our satisfaction.  We are completely satisfied with the new floors and the service Soleil Floors provided.

The whole process from start to finish was excellent.  During the demo phase, the mess and dust were at a minimum.  I was not at home during the day when work was being performed, but Willie always kept me informed of what was going on and kept me updated with the work schedule for upcoming days.  Willie uses subcontractors, but always uses the same ones so there is never a worry about inferior work or something not getting done right.  If there happened to be a problem, Willie always made sure that the problem was corrected and that I was happy.  I am completely happy and satisfied with the work performed and I would hire them again.
