Jerry is very professional and has a system using the internet to schedule each phase of the project and to communicate with customers as the project proceeds.  He did some of the work himself, and used people he has worked with extensively to do the electrical and painting work. I am very satisfied with the quality of his work and am a repeat customer.

From start to finish, Jerry and his teams did an amazing job.  They really took care of the whole house, making sure dust was captured, put down sheeting and even cleaned the whole house after!  His attention to detail is amazing and the quality of work exceeded my expectations.  Little things, like how clean the re-framing was, how the walls looked after re-texturizing and their tile work is superior.  Jerry found a nick in one of the tiles and the crew came out the next day to remove it and put in a new tile.  He's also great at communicating what was going to happen when.  It's inconvenient to be without a master bath for 3.5 weeks, but it's worth it to have the job done right.  Jerry made sure the remodel went as smoothly as possible.
Also, he makes the shopping experience fun.  I have a different design aesthetic then he does, but, he was flexible with my tastes and helped with some difficult decisions.  In the end, I think he wound up liking my vision.  :)
Overall, I think Jerry's company helps serve an important market in remodeling that is under-served:  the mid-market.  It's for folks who don't want to spend money on a design house but are afraid of being a contractor and hiring cheap folks who specialize in one skill.
I will absolutely hire them again.

Round Rock Restoration is a very top-notch company. I was rather hesitant to hire a company that I did not know personally. I am not from Texas so there was no way to know which companies were competent and reliable/trustworthy. Jerry came right away and gave us a very detailed quote for our job. He has a great eye for detail and took over the project completely. We needed a new door, and Jerry was able to get a door that was way better quality than we would have bought. Jerry and his men came right as scheduled and set up their work area so that my house was kept clean and dust-free, which is rare when working with dry wall. They completed the project in two days and when they left, it looked amazing in my house. There was virtually no clean up on my end. Jerry even fixed a few holes in one wall from our movers at no extra charge. My kids even grew fond of Jerry. I feel very lucky to have hired Round Rock Restoration from the get go b/c we will call him first for any future projects. I also liked that his company is insured so that any damage to my house would have been covered by them. This company can pretty much do any type of job, even building decks, etc. I can't say enough, obviously. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Jerry was on site for every step of the renovation which included wallpaper removal, tear out of the porcelain tub and tile, counter top, mirror and lighting. He did much of the carpentry work himself and provided excellent subcontractors for all of the plumbing, drywall, fiberglass, electrical, countertop, tile and glass work and painting. He has remodeled many bathrooms and knew every step and sequence of tasks necessary to get the job done. When he or his subcontractors saw problems, he didn't ignore them - including a toilet flange that had long been broken and an inoperable septic pump., He had the flange repaired and suggested we replace the pump, which we did. It took three weeks and the bath is beautiful and functional. He put in grab bars to make the bath safe, and installed the recessed medicine cabinet and framed the shower which is now wider than the original tub. All in all the bath is much safer to use as well as aesthetically pleasing.

Good job but very over priced. We should have gotten more bids.
Response from Round Rock Restoration
"This job involved installation of a customer-provided vent hood. The existing duct work would not support the hood, so to save the customer significant cost, we custom-fabricated a duct housing inside the cabinet, which would accommodate the new hood and still allow for efficient venting. We removed and extended the custom tile backsplash, because the new hood was higher than existing mircowave. After installation and troubleshooting, we determined that the vent hood was defective. We uninstalled it so the customer could return it to the online merchant for an exchange. When the new hood arrived, we went back and completed the installation. We sent multiple specialists to the home multiple times during the project. Overall, it took a month to complete the project, including waiting for the replacement unit. All work was detailed and signed off before we began, and no mention was made of pricing issues. It's very important to us to do a good job, and we try to ensure that all costs are known up front to avoid any problems after the fact. We try to manage expectations throughout the project. It is unfortunate that the perception was that the price was high, but we would have been happy to provide additional detail or further discussion about the project."

Kitchen Remodel. Jerry and Team did a great job from start to finish. A complete proposal with agreed upon options that depended upon what was found after demolition. The complete job was planned and delivered on time, cleanly, and safely. If you want it done correctly the first time, call Jerry. We had new granite installed with an existing cook top, new sink, new plumbing hardware, and very integrant back splash. The back splash had custom made Texas Star Deco pieces. That took some time to layout for a proper look, but this is what RRR is best at. We cannot say enough about Jerry and his Team.

Very prompt, very courteous, and did a great job. He also installed some light fixture for me as well and that is reflective in the cost.
