 + -1 moreIn the end he spend a lot of time doing floating work of questionable value for a few thousand dollars. More importantly I had him rebuild part of a deck and put on a railing. There were gaps in the railing joints big enough for me to put my finger in. This was rough framing work at best and not a finished trim type work. I get the feeling he hit the bottle.
Description of Work: I have hired Paul for severral remodel and construction projects. He is a hands on carpenter and can hire others to do everything else. Many projects were done well and I was happy so I gave more lattitude. On the last job I didn't get a bid and scope of work before he began working. I was waiting for that and someone told me a guy was working on my property. I had trouble commuicating with him.
