From the start, Out on a Limb was a joy to work with! Not perfect, no, but for the price, I am extremely happy with their work! They are a very small family-run company. I got four quotes, and Out on a Limb was far and away the lowest. They returned my call the fastest, and Ms. Watson spent a good amount of time on the phone with me explaining their business practices and work procedures. She maintained contact with me, always letting me know when she was on the way for the estimate or the guys were on the way to work with our trees. She was absolutely prompt for the estimate, and very fair in her evaluation. The original estimate for two days of work was $2100 before the 10% Angie's List discount.
The work was originally scheduled for a Monday and Tuesday, but had to be cancelled on the Monday due to the illness of a key employee. My opinion of this is that life happens, and I can certainly sympathize. Ms. Watson called me early that morning, and we were able to reschedule for Tuesday and Thursday instead. They did show up a bit later than estimated and left earlier than discussed. However, the gentlemen working on the trees were exceedingly fast, thorough, and very professional. They were also friendly and kind, which I appreciate! My entire front yard was able to be completed in those two days (the massive bulk of the job and my main priority), as well as the removal of two dead trees in the back yard. Ms. Watson and I decided together that a third day would be needed to finish clearing the backyard, and we agreed on a price of $300 for this work. They arrived on time, and just as before finished the work quickly and comprehensively. 
I received an invoice at the end of each day of work, which I was able to pay with Paypal. I also could have paid with a credit card directly to Ms. Watson onsite. Overall, I am absolutely delighted with the current state of my trees and the lack of undergrowth. Out on a Limb did remarkable work with a difficult job, gave me a very fair price, and were exceedingly easy to work with and very friendly. I will absolutely be a return customer to them next time we need work done.

I've used them twice now and I've been very happy with them. I originally used them because of my neighbor who was using them and this was last summer. I just asked them to give me an estimate. I had them trim a fruit tree last summer and I was very happy then. I told them I would call them back over the winter to trim the oak trees which I did and they did. They are licensed arborists and it's a husband and wife team. I was just real happy with them. Their cleanup was very good. I definitely would use them again and they are my go to company now for tree services.

the team of workers were efficient, where able to complete the entire job in 3 hours. the owner of the company stayed with his workers and directed them as required.

Great price for the work that was done. I was impressed.

Arrived later than expected but put in a full 8 hrs non stop pretty much. couldn't be happier.

Chris and his crew arrived at our house on time. They were pleasant and efficient and cleaned up well. We are very pleased with the work.

First, I underestimated the amount of brush I had. Second, they brought a chipper that was definitely on the small side for the job (6" instead of 9"). Even with these early mistakes they made it "right" by coming back the second day and finishing the last 1-2 hours of work at no additional charge. These are good, honest, hard working people who understand customer satisfaction. Though brush chipping is not one of their main services, I would definitely recommend them for any job.
