Mr. Electric of Round Rock

Mr. Electric is not in the business to serve its customers, stay away and find another electrician. After our home was struck by lightning, we chose Mr. Electric to inspect our property in order to file an insurance claim on our damaged items. Contacting and scheduling the inspection was easy and the technician who arrived was polite and professional. Verbally, he agreed that our indoor breaker panel had received a power surge and it was likely due to the recent thunderstorms. Nearly two months later, we still have not received an accurate report of the inspection, have been unable to contact anyone from the company, and have been actively avoided and lied to by Mr. Electric Staff. We are filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the hopes of resolving our issues. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, FIND ALTERNATIVE ELECTRICIAN SERVICES.

Super, extremely knowledgeable workers. They are expensive but well worth every penny. They know what they are doing. I actually feel 100% safe with all the electrical work they did and do not feel that the lamps will fall, a fire will start or a switch wont work. They found problems that were potentially hazardous that other electricians did not see, not even the house inspector, that were obvious and very dangerous. They worked with me to accommodate all my requests even if it meant a little more on their part. They, not one time, cut corners, and did the minimum, but did above and beyond what each job required. Also, they did not rush to get the job done, but spent as much time as needed to make sure I was satisfied with what they were doing, and checked with me frequently to make sure that I was satisfied. The workers were professional, courteous, and very friendly and I felt safe with them.

Workers were very profession and took great care with all fixtures. Several of the chandeliers weighted over 150 pounds and they had to reinforce rafters to complete the work.

Technician was thorough . He identified the problem. Cost quote to replace the defective light switch was astronomical. I purchased a replacement switch and installed it myself. Cost: 98 cents.

Quick response time. Very knowledgeable Tech. Able to troubleshoot quickly. Price was way higher than I expected, but haven't had much experience with electricians. Had them quote on site hanging an exterior chandelier, which tech indicated would require a 24' ladder at a cost of $1000, which seem way too high. While I appreciated the courtesy and professionalism of the tech, and they did fix the issue, I don't know that I can justify the cost for the work performed.
