I hired this lady LIZA as a contractor but i did not know that it was a side profession that was doing to make extra money. So it did not affect at all even when she messed up our work. I did contact a reference that she gave me who gave a positive review about her. She probably had an experience with the work she did for her but for our she had none and she took up the job. She is extremely expensive and quotes are crazy . She gave me a landscaping quote for $1600 that i got done in $600. Her painters had no experience of what they were doing. We asked her to do a sample before we hired here. Her painters did the sample and we told her that this is not what we want but she told us that this is just the rough sample and would b edone fine when we do it finally and i trusted her. But it was a complete harassment ever since i hired her.Here;s what happened.. 1. they used something that completely spoiled our counter tops and on top of that this lady Liza had the courage to tell us that they were already spoiled. 2. the painters used sharp blades to stain the cabinets and did not have proper tools to stain them . When we got it redone , it left crazy scratches on our cabinets. 3. when we showed Liza she just told us that it will be fine when finished but the kind of work they had done could never be fixed by those unprofessional painters and contractor. 4. THE TOP OF ALL was she had our garage clicker for easy access to our house for work and after we told her that we no longer want the work to get done by you she DID NOT WANT TO RETURN the clicker. It unbelievable how anyone can do that. i mailed her texted her but no response. At a point she lied to me that i mailed your garage clicker for which i waited for a week. Still no clicker and then i mailed her that if i don't get within 2 days i will take a legal action and after all this she once kept on our front door. We paid her $1330 in advance (50% of the job) and we lost all our money. Material cost was all ours . She did not have the courtesy of paying us back even of the counter-tops spoiled . we had to get it redone by hiring the professionals and ended up paying $ 7000 in ttotal instead of $3000 job. She is a big LIAR and totally not to be relied on . Don't lose your money by hiring her just like we did. All you will have is a lot of stress, money loss and unprofessional work.
