My family used Kurtis for several years. He is knowledgeable in most areas of home repair, and his prices were almost always the lowest. The quality of his work was solid and he would fix something if we didn't think it was quite right. Kurtis was a gem. We later learned that Kurtis is highly unstable. He would do great work one time, then fail to return phone calls for weeks. Once he had us purchase an oven trim kit, then never returned our calls to install it as promised. By the time we gave up, it was too late to return the $200 trim kit.It truly pains me to honestly give Kurtis low marks since I considered him a wonderful handyman and a friend. To be fair to potential clients however, I have no choice but to honestly state my experience. I referred Kurtis to one other individual who had him perform massive remodeling to her home. She complained to me that he would never return her phone calls. To-date I had not had that problem, so I thought she was just impatient. I eventually learned otherwise. Use Kurtis at your own risk. I trust him to get the job done, but don't be shocked if he just fails to show up or return calls eventually with no explanation.

He charges $75.00 an hour. They are very accountable. He comes when he says he will. He will stick to his estimate that he provides.

He is very cost conscious. If I can do something myself, he will let me know. For example, if I go to get the door, he can hang it for me. He works fast.
