Economy Computer Repair

It was wonderful! He identified the problems, kept it overnight, and "cleaned up" whatever was wrong with my computer. It has been working with no problems since then, better than it has operated in a long time. He also gave me many operating tips to get the most out of my computer.

Matt was excellent. Brought in a completely nonfunctional laptop and it was diagnoses and running in less than 48 hours! Easy to do business with as well.

They advertised the service on site but when I called them several months after I purchased the deal, they said they could no longer come to the site so I need to bring it to their store.  Also, I thought I could use the deal for repair but they said it is for clean up only.  Fortunately the store was close enough to drive by.

It was great!  They got all my data recovered and saved to an external drive in 2 days.  The drive was completely shot and unbootable and I thought I had lost 8 years of stuff.  Excellent service and results as well as nice guys to work with.  Highly recoommend this company for computer issues.

He did a very great job.  He installed anti-virus software and tweaked it.  He was very knowledgeable and professional.  I will be using him again for my computer problems.

It went okay. We just set up a brand new computer. I felt it should have gone a little smoother than it did.

Had a laptop that had dropped and didn't work. In less than a week, Matt had the new parts in and working. I'm so impressed. New mother board and memory.

I took my laptop in on September 5th for a problem booting and what sounded like a broken fan.  It was diagnosed as exactly that.  They told me that a new fan had to be ordered and would be in by the next Wednesday or Thursday (Sep. 10-11)  As soon as received, they would install and let me know.  At the end-of-the-week, Friday, Sep 12, I called them for a status update.
I was advised that the fan ordered was defective.  It was returned and they were awaiting the delivery of a replacement.  The replacement should arrive by the next Tue or Wed (Sep 16-17) and they would call me.  I waited and did not receive a call.  Finally, on Wednesday, (Sep 17) I called them and was told my laptop would be ready later that day.
When I arrived I was told that the just delivered replacement fan was also defective.  The provider is shipping them in envelopes instead of boxing them, so they are getting damaged in transit. 
Instead of waiting for yet another replacement and the strong possibility that it would also arrive damaged, they offered to replace my HP Pavilion with an identical model.  My hard drive, etc. would be transferred over and I would receive a one-year warranty on the device.
I can't put my finger on it, however, I found this very odd.  Is there any reason I should be concerned?  I know they were just being helpful, but...?

Steve is the best tech of all time he really knows how to think outside the box. I am also in the ATM repair business and I had him look at an ATM that was having a Card reader issue and he managed to solve that issue having no prior experience in ATM repair I plan on using this company for not only my computer needs but also my ATM repair. smart bunch over there at ECR

Perfect... had to wait for a new drive to be ordered.

We had endured three weeks of computer frustration, working with the place where we purchased the computer and another computer expert. We took the new machine, a long list of questions to Economy Computer Repair. Matthew got the new computer running at top speed and answered our questions. I took my laptop to take notes on the sequencing of moves to make the computer run faster, a list of housekeeping tasks to keep everything up to date and his many explanations concerning windows 8. My husband had also purchased a computer, so we put Matthew's hints to work on that machine after we got home. Our experience with Economy Computer Repair was very positive.
