I brought my Dell laptop in after it blue-screened on me while I was deployed. I called Dell Tech Support. They wanted $149 for me to ship it in, but told me it would cost more if it was the mother board. When I got home, I decided to take it to Discount Electronics to see what they would say. While I was explaining to Richard what was going on with it, he found the problem. Bad RAM! I left the store down $35, but with a working computer! Yay! Definitely would recommend Discount Electronics Round Rock to my friends.

It went well they kept me informed via e-mail. I also called and asked several questions during the process to make sure I was understanding everything they were doing as I am not a tech savvy person.
One computer was finished before the first and the second was waiting on the top bezel. I was able to payout both computers and take them home as the bezel was not scheduled for delivery until the following week. I returned the the second computer when the part came in and it was replaced in less than 24 hours.
On one computer when I went to pay out there was a discrepancy on the price but the staff was very professional about it and Tim Garza the manager was able to get it cleared up. He was customer oriented while, at the same time, supportive of his staff. I was pleased with the results.
I expected to come out of this experience with only one computer that works well instead I have two. This allows me to continue working on a system I am familiar with for a little longer while I prepare my data for future transfer to a new computer additionally I have a computer for my son to use. This ultimately saved me some money - always a good thing.
I will use Discount Electronics in Round Rock in the future.
