Finally I called from another phone and asked to talk to a supervisor. I was on hold for about 1/2 hour then disconnected. Each time I called to talk to a supervisor I was given the third degree and had to explain that a tec was working on my computer and didn't know what he was doing and I wanted a supervisor to straighten things out. Instead of letting me talk to a supervisor this tec disconnected the other tec from working on my computer. He told me to hang up on the other tec and turn my computer off and he would take over as the tec. As soon as I hung up on the other tec I was also disconnected from the new tec.
I finally got a hold of a supervisor and explained the entire ordeal to him. I told him that I wasn't willing to sit by for another 16 hours for someone else to work on my computer. I told him that the tec left me mid stream with a now non working computer. I let him know that it was working fine when I first called and now wasn't working at all. He told me that there warrenty only covered refunding me my money if they couldn't fix the problem. Not only did they not fix my computer but as far as I was concerned they broke it.
I ended up taking my computer to Best Buy and the Geek Squad fixed it. I picked it up 2 days later and have had no problems since.
MY ADVICE: NEVER CONTACT DELLS TEC. SUPPORT!!
