Dance Gallery

My 12-yr-old is taking ballet and jazz with them.  I am extremely delighted with both the professionalism, dance knowledge and the patience/understanding that each instructor brings to her class.  I have observed not just my daughter's classes, but also the ones before and after them -- some involve much younger children (3 to 5 yr olds) and others are high school or college students.  Each instructor helps elevate the students' confidence as individuals as well as assists them to work as a team/dance troupe with the rest of the students.  The studio has an open-door policy so the parents are welcome to sit in and observe the classes at any time -- but I've learned over the years that it's far better to not be there for your child's sake (even though you really, really want to watch!).  So for that reason, in two of the studios, they have one-way mirror windows so you can see in, but they cannot see you watching them. 
The studio will be having their spring recital in May and I can't wait to see how each of the children has grown since the beginning of the year.  In preparation for it, the studio made it very clear what was expected -- as far as time and financial commitments for the year, as well as the recital and costume fees (recital fee helps pay to rent the Round Rock Performing Arts Center near McNeil HS so the performance is free -- no need to purchase tickets for each family or friend who attends, like what some dance studios do). They have a monthly payment plan as well as semester and annual payment options that provide nice discounts, if you can pay all at once.  They allow you to quit at any time with 30 days notice, but you don't get refunds on any amounts already paid (like if you paid for the semester or the year in advance).  Either way, you won't want to quit once you see what these teachers do for your kids, and how much they care.  
they also offer a "drop in" class at 6:30 on Thursdays for the adults with no commitment beyond the class that you attend.  I especially appreciate this offerinng because my travel schedule would not allow me to commit to a regular class throughout the year.  
They also have a competitive dance squad(s) but we haven't participated in that part of the studio yet.  For someone looking for a high quality dance studio in northeast Round Rock, I highly recommend them.
