Builder warranty has expired and despite being constantly in our neighborhood as it's being built out Creative Custom Cabinets will not repair. I would suggest using a company that can build cabinets that last longer than a year. When I attempted to repair on my own I discovered that the adjacent piece was also poorly attached and about to fall off. I called CCC again. They indicated it would be $150 to repair. I'll be hiring a handyman to fix it as I have no use for the tools required otherwise.

They do very good work when they do it. We had a problem with one of the employees who did the estimates.  Our order was dropped and lost. He just walked off the job. They did not deliver until just recently. I think they are pretty pricey.  When they found out what happened they got right on it and fixed it. They are excellent crafts people. 

I got screwed out of $500.  I do not think that anybody should ever go to those guys for anything.  I called them for an estimate and they said it would cost $1200.  I explained to them the dimensions and everything, and they asked me to visit their store, and I went there and we changed a couple of things, and they said one thing will cost a little more and the other would cost a little less, and I thought it would cost probably within $1200.  Later, they decided they needed to come out to the house and measure up, so they came up to the house and measured up, and they needed $500 to start the drawings and get the thing going.  I gave them a check for $500, and couple of days later they said they had started the numbers and the cost was now $2700, and I said I want back my $500, which I gave you to create the drawing and that I do not want to do business with you, and they said it is our policy to keep that $500.  When I said this to my friend, who is a lawyer, he said you would have got a $500 education.  I do wood working and I make furniture parts for cabinet.  In fact, I had made parts for this cabinet shop, and it took me about three months to get paid back.  I thought maybe they just treat their subs poorly, but treat their customers really good and that was a mistake.  Anyway, those guys screw their clients and their subs both.  I do not know how they are continuing with their business.  I was not able to get the $500 back, but a couple of days later they said here is the drawing that we got for you and it was like a real Mickey Mouse thing that I could have gone to any place and sketched out for me. They did a bait and switch essentially.  I never saw any of their finished products, but their displays were good.  They did not respond to my requests at all.  They were not punctual.  I would never use them again in my lifetime.

They were very good. Chris was very good about explaining everything to me and their workmanship is beautiful.
