We asked for a TV cabinet to fit over our fireplace. First Joe was very responsive in getting the first meetings setup and provided drawings back very quickly. He always let me know where we were during fabrication and was great about following up. Then the final product was awesome. Our floor had an odd hump, and Joe took the time to perfectly scribe the cabinet to the floor. We couldn't be happier with the final product. We will definitely use him again.

Took several weeks but quality was excellent

Fantastic! I had tried for a year to find a carpenter but had no luck finding anyone willing to redo just my cabinet doors. I'm so glad I checked Angie's List because working with Joe was a pleasure. He is a master craftsman, professional, prompt, and he offered specific and useful suggestions. Most importantly, the finished cabinets are stunning and exactly what I wanted. The Carpenter's Shop was great at communicating with us, did exactly what we wanted and all for a reasonable price. He reconfigured our kitchen island and some other drawers. We would definitely recommend them.

Joe is a craftsman. Each piece of the cabinetry fit through the doors to get into the room (no mean feat due to the twists and turns required for this room), and when assembled, fit together and into the space perfectly. Everything lined up and matched the walls and space exactly. The result was actually quite beautiful. We have worked with Joe before when we did a major remodel of our kitchen several years ago, which involved completely gutting the kitchen. We did some rather extensive research of both custom and modular cabinetry available through big-box hardware stores and also through Direct Buy, but Joe's bid was comparable in price and far better in quality and was completely custom - exactly as we specified it with heavy-duty roll-out shelving (that rolls out all the way) in the pantries as well as all the drawers, small display shelves, book shelves and custom sizes and shapes for various pieces of kitchen equipment. The result was one of the best designed kitchens I have seen anywhere. It's a real looker as well as being very functional. In the end choosing Joe was probably the best decision we made in the entire remodling project.
