Pretty straightforward... bought a house and needed to replace the original blinds that were falling apart. Rex and Mary were great! They went they extra mile even stopping by to pick up my payment. Really like my blinds and Antonio with the install team super professional as well.

Rex and Mary of Budget Blinds provided timely, professional and excellent service in the order of new blinds for my home. Rex came to my home to show me samples. He listened to my needs, understood my budget limitations, measured my windows on the spot, and provided temporary shades for my windows (which by the way looked fabulous) while I waited for my blinds to arrive. I got a call for the installation appointment which was scheduled at my convenience. More importantly the expert installation of the blinds by Antonio and Danny was flawless! The blinds make such a difference in the aesthetics of my home. I will be contacting Mary and Rex again for my future window treatment needs.

We just built a new house. The model unit had shutters and we loved the look. We started taking bids before we closed on our house. It took Costco 5 days to get us a quote. Budget blinds was our last bid. Rex came onsite and had a bid for us in 20 mins. He was efficient and very professional. Rex had the lowest bid by $600 (including Costco). We didnt fell pressured in any way. After more research the shutters are the same Norman (top of the line) shutters we were quoted by other companies. We signed the contract with Budget Blinds. Rex was very upfront with us that these are custom shutters and it will take 6-8 weeks. We receive a call 1 week earlier than we thought. The installers came out with in days. we had one small leak in one of the windows. I asked the installers to install all the windows except the leaking window (until builder fix leak), Mary (Rex wife) emailed me the next day to see how everything went and to call her to schedule the final shutter install. Working with Rex and Mary has been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Budget Blinds.

In a word - Excellent. The company that builds the shutters did not properly prepare the frames on the larger Windows for shipping, so the were bent during shipping. Rather than making them work - the frames are nailed to the window frame, which Rex could have done, his installers told me it would be better to have the company to build a new set for the two large window (9 ft wide x 6 ft high) frames. I contacted Rex and he got right on the problem and within two weeks the new frames had been built and installed. I highly recommend Rex and Mary. I found them to be highly professional and ethical. Their installers are top notch and made sure every shutter worked perfectly before leaving.

Russ and Ellen Decker of Austin South did a great job. They're always very responsive and gave one of the best quotes. Russ is careful and arrives on time or gives you updates on the road. The product turned out great and there was no damage to anything else. They do not take full payments until the job is done and will make sure everything is complete. I would use them again.

We called Budget Blinds for a quote to install wood shutters in our new home. Their prices were literally half of the competition. Immediately we thought the quality of the product would be less than desirable. After investigation we found they use a local business that makes the shutters. Another company we received a 6300.00 quote from uses this exact same local manufacturer to make their shutters. 
Save yourself some money if you are looking for wood shutters. At least take the time to get a quote from Budget Blinds and research a little about the type of wood used and the manufacturer of the product for comparison. I know you will be pleasantly surprised. 

When the rep came out to my house for my first appointment, I was relieved that they could measure properly with a neat little gadget. It would have taken me a long time with my tape measure and I probably would have gotten it all wrong. After measuring, he let me look at color options and types of wood samples. I made my selections and was given a quote. I was a little surprised at the price, but I knew these would be done right and would fit my windows perfectly, adding to the value of my home. I signed the agreement and waited for the blinds to come in.

Juan was my installer. He arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled time and was very courteous and professional. He unpackaged all of the blinds outside, leaving no packaging behind for me to dispose of. Then he installed all of the blinds, testing them and putting up with my ooo-ing and aahh-ing. (haha!) He did a fabulous job and my blinds look amazing! They were worth the investment.

They did a good job.  They were friendly, and prompt.  They had good service and I would recommend them to anyone.

worked up a very reasonable proposal. Although the promised install
time was about 2 weeks, the blinds were ready for installation under
the 2 week timetable. Victor, the installer, was on time,
courteous, and did a superb job!

Budget Blinds was responsive to my request for an appointment. Their representative/owner was helpful in making suggestions as to how to construct the blinds to suit our window configurations and privacy needs. I love the look of them, and the quality is very nice. I thought some of the corners could have been matched a little more cleanly, but overall, a nice job.

Budget Blinds of Austin was a pleasure to work with, from beginning to end! Alan, as well as his installation crew, is extremely professional and knowledgeable about his products, and both he and his crew were very punctual. The price was more than fair for the numerous blinds and shades we had installed. I can't say enough good things about this company, and I will use them again and highly recommend them to family and friends.

Mary and Rex from Budget Blinds are friendly and professional as well as their crew, Kenny and Kevin. Rex came out to my house and helped me select the right blinds for my house. I had no idea what I wanted and Rex was great to help me in choosing blinds without any pressure. I have 11 windows in the house (its double windows so 22blinds) and went with basic white faux wood blinds. I called 3 companies and Budget Blinds was the lowest estimate, only company to come out to my house as well. It took two weeks for the blinds to arrive and have them installed. Kenny and Kevin were great, professional, polite and friendly. They literally arrived at my home and went directly to work. They cleaned up after themselves and were done in about an hour. They checked all the blinds to make sure they worked properly and even walked me through them. I can't say enough about the company. From beginning of the process to the end, the experience was great. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to everyone.

It went very well. Measuring and estimating was prompt and smooth. Installation was fast and installers appeared competent. One of the real wood blinds has a sliver missing on the bottom, showing the base color underneath, but I guess that can't be avoided with real wood. My only complaint is that measuring can only be done during the day, Monday through Friday. As a single person, employed full-time, that meant taking leave from work. They also told me they prefer to install only on weekdays, but were kind enough to arrange for a Saturday installation anyway.

They were outstanding, and I have nothing but great things to say about them. Their price and quality were great. They measured everything perfectly, and everything fits perfectly; everything looks great. For the amount of blinds we got, the quality, installation and everything about it was outstanding. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Alan Rexrode (Budget Blinds Round Rock) has worked with us before so when we needed a blackout blind for my husband's office - he was the first person I thought of. He helped me select a roman style shade that would match the color and texture of another larger shade in the room and then showed me how it would look with the blackout lining. Budget Blinds shows up on time, Gives extremely accurate estimate of the time until installation and their installers are both prompt and professional. We have been very impressed with both the value and service given by the Rexrodes!
