Willamson County JP2 Court awarded me more than $5,500 dollars from Rick Boling, dba BC Tile and Wood. In December/2015, Mr. Boling walked the job with $2,000 dollars after I discovered his tile setter had put the wrong tile in my shower. When I sent Mr. Boling a letter telling him he needed to fix the problem, he wrote back telling me to "go ahead and sue me, I have nothing to hide." He didn't show up at trial. In addition to the wrong tile on the wall, he ordered $800 dollars of tile in excess of the measured requirement, Mr. Boling's tile installer, Trainwreck Ron, mixed vertical tiles in a horizontal pattern, cut holes too big to seal around shower valves, created permanent scratches on tile surfaces, left out grout spaces in all corners, tried to cover up mistakes with caulk, plus much more. Be careful using free websites, such as FIXr.com, HomeAdvisor.com, CraigsList, to locate a contractor. Any contractor can list a service and they are NOT VETTED. BC Tile & Wood is on many free websites and the positive reviews are likely written by the same person. It is incredibly easy to post phony reviews. The 9/29/2016 Yelp review by a "client" named Mike is interesting, only because Mr. Boling's flooring installer is named Mike. Any contractor who has only a one or two five star reviews and no others is a warning flag. See if there's similar misspellings or common phrases. You can read "highly recommended!" and "beyond satisfied!" in two of the not recommended Yelp reviews. Another tell is the misuse of capitalization in mid-sentence. One ecstatic customer named Evelyn wrote how happy she was with the living room hardwood flooring Mr. Boling installed, yet on another website, Evelyn wrote she was so thrilled after Mr. Boling had tiled her bathroom, she was going to have him come back and tile her living room. The other common theme across websites is to see a five star review suddenly appear after a bad review, like Mason or Mike. Exercise due diligence when picking a contractor so you don't lose money, time, labor, and the burden of preparing for and attending a trial. This guy operates under several names to hide bad reviews. Don't make the mistake of hiring Mr. Boling like I did. He has no business ethics. BC Tile & Wood demo-ed 400 sqft of tile off our 1st floor slab, removed 700 sqft of carpet & pad, and demo-ed a shower stall and ceramic tub. All demo work was performed in a professional and quality manner. Much attention was paid to protecting / care of displaced furniture, kitchen appliances and home furnishing during entire process. Demo work completed in 2 work days with all debris removed promptly. All BC Tile & Wood members were courteous and responsive to our needs. We highly recommend BC Tile & Wood for this type work.

I was referred by a friend of mine to call Rick @ BC Tile N Wood to get my kitchen backsplash installed. He came out to give me a free estimate and was very professional and friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. He even helped me find the exact tile that I wanted from several different showrooms. Anyway they came and installed it and did just a wonderful job. Everything was clean and let me tell you it just turned out beautiful. So about three months later I called him back to install my shower and it is simply gorgeous. They even installed a little tile the shape of Texas in my soap niche it?s the cutest thing. I just recently had them back to install my travertine floor tile before Christmas and again they just did a wonderful job. They do what they say they will do and it cost me what the estimate said it would be. There were no surprises. They are very trust worthy and honest. I have some very expensive items in my home and I felt very comfortable with them being there I even would go run errands and everything was where it was supposed to be when I would get back. I?m very happy with the work and I highly recommend Rick and his guys.
