"Cynthia is being very dishonest. I have text message proof that I told her clearly It would be AFTER 6 before I could get there. This was after setting an appointment for Friday. Then she calls me Wednesday begging me to come that day instead, two days earlier than promised. so I told her, I already had a full day but I could come AFTER 6. So I finished my other work before six and stopped by my house for a quick bite to eat. She phones me at six o'clock sharp saying where are you? So I get there exactly as I said about a quarter after 6. This was absolutely not to give an estimate as she claims. I do not give estimates on simple repairs. Because thats a waste of time. When I can just be fixing things. It was a service call to show up and fix something. First thing she does is whine about being recently divorced (Like half the population?) trying to play on my sympathies to give her a discount. Im already half the price of some of my far less competent competitors and on top of that $35 has to go directly to Angie's list for the lead. She is dishonest that all I did was flip a switch. I had to go inside and check the flow repeatedly because you cant just open the bypass valve and trust that everythings okay. When you find a softener bypassed, you have to check and see if theres a reason for that. its risky just to flip the switch. So that is not at all what I did. She is lying. I went to great lengths to determine if there was a reason someone had bypassed it. Checking the flow repeatedly at different places inside the house. She denied any knowledge of Why her softener was bypassed by someone... I also found her drain connection was dangerous and I went to trouble that she didnt even ask for to fix that. Using time and materials to do that. I did not charge her any more. Normally I charge $55 just for that. I did that for her free. so this is a very unappreciative nasty dishonest woman. I strongly suspect this was a set-up by a competitor just to put a bad review. And yes, I was eating when she phoned me exactly at six oclock impatiently accusing me of being late. Another lie. Salty? Yeah, I am the salt of the earth. And you are slimy. Bless your heart! So, Cynthia, after driving to your place, spending 40 minutes there fixing things and then back home for a total of an hour and 20 minutes after giving you a discount and pain Angies list. I profited a whole 20 bucks for an hour and a quarter work. . and you feel salty about it and tell people. They should call someone else? Youre a real piece of work. I notice your email ends in .edu Obviously involved in education. so you're one of those that has no clue what it takes to run a business. thats why you say if I was running a business I wouldn't even charge. yeah, youd be in business for about 1 week."
