The work was done about 15 months ago but family matters and COVID got in the way of me writing this earlier. Cactus replaced roughly an acre of dilapidated 3-rail horse fencing for us. We paid a 50% deposit in March 2019. Due to the pasture being soft because of wet weather and their backlog, work did not begin until June 2019. The job was done very well with what we think are good materials for a fair price. Arthur and his crew have the tools, heavy machinery, knowledge, experience, and dedication to do a very good job, including removing and grinding out some small and medium tallow and hackberry trees that had grown through the old fence line. Arthur and the crew were careful and polite and pretty quiet compared to some other crews we’ve had out here for other kinds of jobs. Overall, the job site was kept clean. The only problem we had during the job – and it didn’t result in any serious problems thank goodness - was that if the Arthur or the supervisor were not on the site for some reason, we sometimes had problems communicating with the crew. The work was finished in roughly a week’s time, and we were very satisfied with it. In early May 2020, a neighbor’s unusually large hackberry tree blew down along the fence line and knocked down several sections of the new fence. It was a real tribute to the workmanship and materials that so little was damaged. While we were inspecting the tree damage, we noticed a very small number of very minor workmanship problems that had emerged over the previous year. We were very satisfied with the price and work Cactus had done for us on the original installation, so we contacted Cactus about repairing the tree damage and correcting the minor workmanship problems. Arthur gave us a very good price to replace the sections damaged by the neighbor’s tree and also honored the warranty on the minor problems. Just as before, his crew did a terrific job with no fuss or muss. The only suggestion I would make is that Arthur is always extremely busy and you will need to be persistent and patient in contacting him. He spends a lot of time out in the field with his crews on jobs and can be hard to get a hold of sometimes, but he is very customer and quality focused.

Perfect, i wish I could hire Arthur and his crew for everything I need done at my house. Professional, courteous and very responsive to my initial request for a bid and follow up questions. Hauled off old fence at the end of day 1 and left my yard cleaned of all debris when the job was finished. Great work.

Crystal is very professional and friendly. I will say we had a rough start with the crew that was hired (they were late and there were a couple of other issues) I immediately communicated the issues to Crystal and she was on top of things. She apologized profoundly and took care of it. Customer Service is extremely important to me but I'm always willing to give the benefit of the doubt and the things that happened were out of her control. She took care of them immediately and the job was done promptly as she had promised. The fence looks fantastic. I would hire them again.

Arthur Flores is the owner and his responsiveness to my online quote was fast! Originally I thought the prices were a bit high and showed him another quote I had and he worked with me on that! His crew came out and did a phenomenal job. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up after completion. I was willing to pay a little more for Cactus fence only because Arthur offers a lot of educational information I wouldn't normally ask and puts it on the table. That's integrity. I also saw that his materials were pretty high quality stuff and BONUS - He offers warranty. Excellent Company - I highly recommend.

Company set an appointment and did not show. They called the next day and I rescheduled two days later. I took off 4 hours of work to meet them and they did not show or call. 4.5 hours after the scheduled time they called me asking if I was still at home. They did have have a valid reason other than they were tied up on another job. I cannot do business with a company who acts in this unprofessional way. I am happy for the satisfied customers on their website.

Wonderful follow-up for scheduling. Price was a higher than other bids of quality of customer service was worth the difference in price. The fence was installed in the summer and survived Hurricane Harvey without a scratch! Installation team was timely and cleaned up after themselves. I had to work with 3 neighbors along with Cactus to get my fence replaced. They were patient with all of our personalities and got out fence replaced in a timely manner. They divided up the quote by each individual and ended up doing 4 homes in our area. We didn't understand at first that the old fence material would be piled until the job was done but they did remove everything from our yard and left the area very clean. The crew were very polite and when we had questions, the office answered them for us. They let us comb through the old picket sections for some home projects I wanted to do. I am very happy with my fence.
