The owner and his sales lady were very friendly and chatty. They told us some very valuable information about box springs that I was not aware of, as in if your box spring is in good shape, there is no need to purchase a new one. They explained that box springs are a huge up-sell at other mattress stores, and they simply consist of a cheap wood frame covered in fabric. The store owner said some people will just go to the hardware store and buy a piece of plywood to put over their existing box spring to make it stronger and more level. He even gave us two coupons for free milkshakes at a neat restored malt shop that was around the corner from the store. I would say make the drive out to Rosenburg and check this mattress store out first before you decide to go to The Dump or any other mattress store, discount or otherwise. You might be very surprised at what you learn about bedding.
