HAWKINS FURNITURE CO

I  visited Hawkins Furniture in downtown Rosenberg in October and after browsing through his shop where his high quality, rustic style furniture is displayed, I asked him whether he would be interested in building a flip-top console table for me in the style and to the exact specifications that I wanted.  Mr. Hawkins was very engaging and agreeable, and I went back to his store about a week later with a picture of the table that I was interested in having built.
Mr. Hawkins asked several questions to make sure that he had all the details that he needed and indicated that it would likely take him 2-3 months to finish the piece due to his workload.  During the process of making the table, he invited to come back to his workshop to make sure I was satisfied on how the wood stain color for the table ended up, and we had a brief conversation about the hardware needed for the hinges for the flip-top capability. 
I could not be happier with the final product.  The finish on the table is beautiful.  The hinges (which were extremely difficult to find in the aged bronze color) fit the table perfectly.  It's exactly the height and width and depth that I needed for the space where I plan to use the table.  Mr. Hawkins does supremely high quality work, and now I have a table that I will happily use for decades to come.
