Once we settled on the work to be done, the project proceeded very nicely. The crew took a day longer than estimated; but, that wasn't a problem for us. The crew worked through one of the hottest days of 2018, incidentally. The workmanship was excellent. I needed additional ventilation in me attic, and Final Touch provided three solutions that have made what I think is a significant difference. Clean up was exceptional too. Final Touch is more expensive than the others, but they are worth the premium.

This company was exceptional. Very timely and job was done to perfection. Their prices were very competitive, but the work that was done exceeded my expectations. Never had to call to confirm appointments and their communication was great. Would highly recommend them and actually need some painting done and will call them before anyone else.

Perfectly! The owner, Paul Kropf, dealt with my insurance company's adjuster and I really didn't have to do much except pick out the metal roofing. It was such a relief! Under the aluminum roof was another wood shingle (shake) roof, which also had to be removed. I chose a metal roof material that looks very much like slate, but at a fraction of the price. The cleanup was quick and thorough. The team replaced flashing, piping and exhaust caps and all necessary items to make the roof impenetrable. They were finished in just a few days and my neighbors were very amazed on the quality and timeliness of the crew of Final Touch. In fact, a neighbor just a few doors down recently replaced their roof using Final Touch. From the work I have seen, I would highly recommend them for your roofing and remodeling needs! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Perfectly. They were very good with removing the existing shingles and cleanup. I saw a few nails in the grass the night before they came back and finished, but these were all gone when they finished the project the next day. Everything looks great. We had used their services on a previous house so we knew it would be a good experience.

Appointment was made quickly, the employee showed up timely and was very nice. Wrote an estimate that was not itemized however listed the work to be done. I had initially asked for items to be replaced at the recommendation of my insurance company however the guy explained this did not need to be done and would cost around $1600 instead they could do the necessary repair or $800. The employees came out timely to do the work however they were literally at my house for less than 30 minutes and on my roof for less than 20 minutes. When I contacted the company and explained what occurred I was told time makes no difference (????) if I had to buy a part that was costly that may make sense but not the case here. I requested an itemized receipt and was told that could not be done. I contacted my insurance company and advised they probably should not recommend this company as they refuse to provide an itemized receipt. The owner contacted me wanted to come to the home, came out went on the roof said yes they did the work again stated they would not provide an itemized receipt. This company literally told me it might take the employee 3 hours to prepare for a job and that is part of the fee (it was standard items used here nothing hard to prepare), I was told that I was charged for the time it took one employee to go 'pick up' his helper. These are ridiculous things to be charged for (not on the estimate by the way). Any company who refuses to provide an itemized estimate should be a flag. Shame on me for trusting the advice of my insurance adjuster. Never again.
Response from Final Touch Roofing
"We were contacted by Mrs. [Member Name Removed] because we were referred by her insurances company. We have been a preferred contractor for this insurance company for over 17 years and have been a top performer on the program for many years. Our representative went out and gave her an itemized estimate. The estimate stated to remove the dryer vent and surrounding shingles and then install a new 8" vent, replace shingles around the vent and paint the vent to match the shingles. Then we were to caulk and seal all stacks, jacks, vents and exposed nail heads on the roof and then clean up and haul away all trash created by the job. That is an itemized invoice. What Mrs. [Member Name Removed] did ask for was itemized pricing on the job. We bid jobs by looking at the scope of the work, material and labor to do the work correctly and then bid accordingly. Many Roofing companies do all repairs with a bucket of Roofing cement. This is a cheap and temporary solution and will definitely leak again. At Final Touch Roofing, we find the problem and the correct way to fix the problem so that it never leaks again. Final Touch Roofing carried $2 million in liability insurance and $500 thousand in workmans comp. When we talked about the roofers time, what we were trying to explain to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] is that it wasn't just a 30 minute job. The contractor had to pick up his helper, had to go to ABC Roofing supply to pick up materials, had to drive to her house, do the work, clean up, haul off trash then return any materials that may have beeen left over, take his helper home and then proceed to his house. For a minimum repair, just to come out and caulk a pipe or something small like that, the price is $475.00. All pricing includes overhead to run a legitimate company, and of course profit. Also, the estimator has to receive money for his time, gas and effort. We may not be the cheapest company but we do excellent quality work. I am the owner and I did not go out to the house, it was the field supervisor. I wish I had gone out to the house so that I could explain to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] our thoughts on the issue. In my opinion, there was nothing wrong with the quality of work, or the professionalism. It was merely that she did not think that we took long enough for the price that was charged. I am sorry that she feels this way but she was told in the beginning exactly what we would be doing and for exactly how much. She was happy with everything except she did not feel that it took my guys long enough to complete the repair. Thank you, Paul Kropf"

Final Touch came out to give me an estimate to replace my roof due to damage from a falling tree on June 9th, 2015. Hugh gave me a time frame of 2-3 weeks to have the work done due to the excessive rainy season we had been having. About 6 weeks in I still had received no call from Hugh or anyone else about a time frame or update or to ask what color shingles I would want to have installed. My husband and myself made several calls and emails to Hugh, and we were always ignored. In fact, any time we tried to contact Hugh we were repeatedly ignored. I finally called the main office myself around the 3rd week of July to try to find out what was going on with the roof. I was told that they would be there July 27 to begin installation and supplies would be delivered before that date. I then advised them that they didn't even know what color I wanted so how on earth could they possibly deliver supplies. Monday the 27th came and went with no one showing up and no phone calls. We then tried to contact Hugh with no response and I again called the main office to find out what was going on. They then told me they would be there Friday to do the job. The crew did show up Friday and worked a few hours (on a job with a start and finish rate of one day per the contract) and then left. They did not tell us anything. They just left. About 7 AM on Saturday morning (maybe a bit earlier, I can't remember) we were awakened to pounding on the roof. No one asked if we were ok with having the work done on a weekend day, but no one explained to us why it wasn't completed in one day per the contract either. No communication is the key to this whole experience. The work was completed, but several weeks later we still had shingles that wouldn't lay flat, and they had hammered so hard that they had busted boards along the ridge vent of the roof and instead of repairing they had simply shingled over the busted boards. We had to pay for an external inspection just to prove all of the issues with the roof. In addition to the shingles installed over broken boards, we had shingles not laying flat and numerous exposed nail heads. After we forwarded a copy of the inspection report to Hugh, Final Touch came back and when all was said and done, the roof was finished approximately December 18, 2015. I've never had a more frustrating experience, nor have I ever been treated so poorly with such a lack of response or customer service.  We have retained the emails, texts, contracts etc... pertaining to this experience. No one from Final Touch bothered to call or follow up or apologize for how we were treated.
Response from Final Touch Roofing
"Final Touch Roofing would like to apologize to Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] in regards to this claim. Hugh Kropf is no longer with the company and has retired. I believe the communication may have come at a time when Hugh was tied up trying to get stuff straight with his retirement location and details, which is not an excuse at all for not returning calls or communicating with the homeowner. We are very sorry for the lack of communication on Hugh's part and we are always stressing the importance of communication when it comes to our customers. I hope that in the future, should you need any additional work or help with your roof you would please contact our office and we will show you that we are a top tier roofing contractor and pride ourselves in how we take care of our customers. Once again we would like to extremely apologize for Hugh's service on your claim and can understand that it was just a slip and not the way we conduct our business."

Paul and Ted were professional throughout the process.  The crew was professional, timely and cleaned up our property efficiently after each days work.  Our neighbors asked who we had used since they didn't think they had damage, but wanted to check.  When Paul checked their roof, he told them it was fine and didn't need to be replaced.  Paul also worked well with the insurance company.  We would use again.

It took several calls to get a response as to when they would be able to get the work done.
We were advised that they would be here Saturday morning the 19 from 10-12. We did not get a call from them before they arrived and when they did arrive they introduced themselves and that they were here to do the roof repairs. The workmen did not have uniforms and the truck did not have a company logo on it.
They proceeded to do the work and did it quickly and cleaned up the job after.
They did not connect the power vent, I had thought was included, since it was only a matter of connecting the power cord pigtail to the control.
I connected the old pigtail and plug to the control unit and plugged it in.
