The On-The-Team came in as scheduled and completed the work in one day -- they left my yard just like they found it.  At part of the agreement On-The-Level provided me with updated engineering drawings and an EXCLUSIVE LIFETIME WARRANTY.   I would recommend On-The-Level for anyone needing to adjust their home's foundation.

The job went exceedingly well. Roger and his crew were on time and did a good job of cleaning up after their work. All of them are hard workers. My husband and I are very happy---our front door and others in the hosue are now closing properly. Roger also provided a very succinct, handy sheet describing how to irrigate the foundation properly so that hopefully this situation won't reoccur.

From start to finish, it was a very positive experience. I knew I had foundation problems, but was worried about the expense, and about whom I could trust. Then a friend recommended On The Level, and I also joined Angie's List to check them out. I saw they had favorable ratings and so I called them. When John Ritter came out to evaluate the situation, he spent about two hours at my house and did a very thorough inspection. I was very happy with the estimate, and quite surprised at how reasonable it was. Initially, it was thought they would have to cut into the concrete patio to install one of the piers, but instead they were able to tunnel under it to place the pier. All the work was done in one day, and the clean up was amazing. Couldn't even tell my yard had been dug up. The cracks in my brick and in the walls inside came together. Several days after the work was finished, an independent engineer was sent out to verify that the repair was done properly. The foundation repair is warranted, and the warranty stays with the house. It does not have to be transfered to a new owner if it is ever sold.

Overall experience was excellent. My calls were promptly returned by friendly, informed people. The crew was professional and managed to do the repairs with minimal disruption to our landscaping. The room is back to level, no broken glass (in the many large windows in the room) or door sticking issues.

I build a rapport with the owner, Roger, on our first meeting. His was the third bid I had received, he was gracious and honest, and was the most reasonable bid. He came out to the job when the house was being lifted and ensured everything was on target. His crew had an especially difficult time when my non-English speaking neighbor tried to run them off his property (I have a zero lot-line home and they had to access his yard to repair my home). My HOA advised there was a five-foot easement, so On the Level finished the job quickly with minimal landscape damage. I had approached my neighbor the night before to explain the repair work that would be happening, but he was unwilling to try to communicate. I wrote a long letter to his wife to explain, since she speaks English, and I attached a copy of the plan showing where they would be digging. Absolutely no trees, bushes or established grass in my neighbor's yard was disturbed by Roger's crew; only dirt was dug up where there was no grass. I was very pleased with how Roger's team conducted themselves and performed their job, especially under these circumstances. As a homeowner in my first house, it was a very distressing event. I would advise other homeowners to not wait until the last minute like I did to try to ensure your neighbors know what will be happening.

So far everything has gone fine. The job is done, but we are still waiting for a certificate to show that the foundation was repaired. They have great customer service as well.

We interviewed 3 or 4 foundation repair companies whose prices ranged from about $5,000 to $20,000 (that guy obviously didn't want the work, didn't even go in the crawl space before writing a quote). Roger did a very thorough engineering examination of the house when he worked up the quote, and crawled the crawl space. He gave us a very well thought out quote and explanation of our foundation situation. There were no surprises, he was there exactly when he said he would be, and he was available by phone for questions we had related to water drainage after the job was done. His guys even brought in bags of dry concrete mix (& removed them upon completion) to sit in 2 rooms for a month or so (we hadn't started renovation work yet) to weigh down the floors in a few places where previous shims had over-corrected the problem & there wasn't enough downward pressure to do it naturally.

Roger is not only the owner, but a structural engineer. He supervised the entire job. Hard to find a company who will repair both. They installed 13 pressed piling piers, and they had plumbing leak test down both before and after the job was done. They give a life time warranty.
