We are Factory Authorized Bryant Dealers because we believe in the quality products of Carrier / Bryant over any other brand but we can install all brands available. We always do a Load Calculation on our customer's home before we recommend a system size which is a $500 service we offer for free. We are Healthy Air Specialist and offer the best Products on the market. Residential / Commercial

Very unsatisfied with this company, owner, and service! Lyons Heat & Air charged us $451 to replace a hard start kit and Schrader (sp) valve to fix the problem with our AC. Owner, Johnny Lyons left in a hurry before verifying that the problem was resolved.  Our house never cooled, even after sundown. Once we notified him that the problem was not resolved, he came back to the house to tell us that we needed a new fan motor and it would cost another $700-900. At this point we called someone else. Per the second technician that we called, the hard start kit was not hooked up correctly and wasn't even needed. We spent the entire evening/night hot and uncomfortable in our home. Also, because he was running late and headed toward an appointment, he told me he would email me an invoice, which he never did. Several weeks later, I had to call and ask for it.  When it was sent, it didn't contain details of the work he did. So again, I had to ask for a correct receipt. He spent approximately 30 minutes at our house and I feel like if he didn't have time to use his technical skills to correctly diagnose our problem and fix it, he shouldn't have accepted the service call. I felt very taken advantage of by this company. I asked the owner to consider rectifying the issue, but received no response.

I had previously purchased a maintenance agreement with another company on Angie's list, and they came out and told me everything needed to be replaced, to the tune of about $8,000.  My son insisted I get another opinion, and I am so glad I did.  He recommended Lyons AC.  At this point, my AC was not cooling well, so I called on Friday, and she scheduled me for Saturday from 1-3.  John called me, because he was running late, and on Saturday the AC had quit cooling altogether, so I was just glad he was able to make it on a Saturday.  When he arrived, he did a diagnostics.  He said the coolant was low, and because of how low it was, there was probably a leak.  He suggested we do the leak seal, and if that didn't work, he would credit the leak seal purchase toward a new coil, within the next year.  When he was done and the house cooling down (thank heavens) he gave me his recommendations, which were to clean the indoor evap coil and add an overflow switch.  He explained that the evap coil needed to be cleaned every 2 to 3 years, and that it would help with the efficiency of my AC, and also help it to last.  NOTE:  He did not indicate that I needed a totally new system!!  I am so pleased with his work ethic that I did schedule him to come back on his next available date to do the recommended services.  John is obviously a young, honest, family man running his own business.  If you want to nick pick about being exactly on time, please don't bother him.  As a business owner myself, I know you can't always control the unexpected.  However, if you want honestly and efficiency, he's your guy.

Provider was punctual and professional, and identified my problem right away (My attic unit is slightly off center, causing it to drain improperly).
The only issue came when he offered to do a drain clear for me and I stupidley said yes - the charge was obscene.  I felt bilked after, but I only blame myself - the provider did a good job.

I called Lyons from an Angie's List discount coupon for a systems evaluation.  After the evaluation they suggested I only needed a good cleaning of our outside units.  Even though that was not scheduled, they stayed and completed the cleaning before they left.  Very professional and personable.  They are now my go to for all future Heating and Air needs.  Highly recommend.

Lyon's did an excellent job.  Upon buying the coupon, they sent me an email within an hour to arrange a date and time for them to come out, which we got without hassle.  (The time was a 2 hour window, which I was fine with)  The day before, they called to confirm that I still wanted them to come out. The technician showed up with in the window, even called before he arrived.  I showed the A/C unit outside and let me be to do his thing. A little later, he asked me to come outside to show me something, there was a part that he suggested that we replace, quoted me an exact price on the spot.  He didn't tell me that I needed it to be replaced right away, just that it needs to be replaced eventually or my A/C will cease to work.  He told me everything else looked good and didn't see any other issues.  I am not getting that part replace just yet, but if I do, I will call them.

The Tech showed up on time -- the same day I purchased the service from Angie's list - and did a great job.  He went up on the attic and checked the filter and the electrical connections and condensate drain as I requested.
Then he moved outside to that part of the unit and chekced everything and washed it down good.  One part unexpectedly got wet when he was washing it, so he went ahead and replaced that part at no charge because he was concerned it might act up after he left.
The tech was awesome, knowledgable, pleasant -- nothing I can think of could have made this a better experience.

Zach shared that it could be one of two problems: capacitor or compressor.  Fingers crossed, he discovered it was just a capacitor and was able to replace it with a spare from his truck.  After verifying the unit was working properly he shared the company's yearly services they offer for winter and spring maintenance.  Very impressed!!

Excellent response from owner Johnny Lyons to my dilemma of broken A/C system. He arrived quickly to a**** my problem, determine what needed to be done, scheduling replacement install within days. Unit works perfectly and much more efficient than my old 13 seer unit. Received copy of warranty registration that can only be done by installing company. This is important to me as I had a new unit installed in 2007 by another company (which is now bankrupt) that failed to register my warranty, thus requiring me to pay for my new unit. Johnny had great installers who worked quickly and efficiently to get my unit installed and running, with no mess. Highly recommend Lyons A/C as reliable, honest and fair. Will use Lyons for all my future A/C heating services.
