He was very difficult to work with from the beginning. - When he started, he stated that all of his workers would show up to our house wearing his company shirts. Not once did we see a worker with one of his shirts. - There were constant delays and excuses. A job that was expected to be done in 3-4 weeks was only 50% completed in 7 weeks. - The contract that he composed did not reflect the actual work that he was doing. - He constantly over quoted for materials and expected us to pay him more money prior to any parts/materials being ordered or work being completed. - He asked for multiple draws on the account without his workers showing up for 3-4 days at a time (this happened multiple weeks), and when asked why no work was being done, he stated he was using the money to order supplies for future work. - When we questioned him about the cost and quality of the work and materials chosen, he got angry and was very unprofessional. -Materials used for the work that was actually completed were sub par. -Quality of work (such as laying bathroom tile and flooring) was poor. -He left our job with only 50% of the total work being completed and 80% of the total pay. -One month following the contractor leaving our job, part of our house flooded due to his workers not properly reconnecting our washer, after the laundry room floors were laid, which cost additional thousands of dollars to fix. - When we attempted to come to an agreement about the completion of the contract he threatened to place a lean on our house for the remainder of the contract. In summary, he is a very dishonest and unprofessional contractor and we would not recommend him for any job.
Description of Work: He was hired to remodel our master bathroom, replace an old electrical box, lay some flooring, and paint a few rooms in the house
