Overall, I was very satisfied with the service performed by the company, FamilySafe of Texas. A safe room was ordered in March for delivery in six to eight weeks. The actual product was delivered and installed during late May. The Room was placed in the garage of an existing residence. The men who made the delivery were quick, but careful, in performing their task and knew exactly what needed to be done. Positioning of the room to the chosen location was achieved with a minimum of fuss The men were professional and careful in their work. Were I in need of another Safe room, I would order again from this company with complete confidence. FamilySafe of Texas is a reliable business with a very good product.

The installation went very well. I had to call the owner to get the installation date. When the job was priced I was told they would contact me. Russell could do a better job of keeping his customers up to speed on details. I know that they have been very busy because of the early tornado outbreak this year, but customer service is also important. I am pleased with the install overall. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up after themselves.

Although there was a little bit of a delay in getting the shelter due to increased business from all the tornadoes last year, when we received our shelter it was installed in a couple of hours. It is bolted securely to our foundation and is solid. What's nice is that this shelter can be removed and relocated to our next home should we ever decide to move. Very pleased with the transaction and the overall professionalism demonstrated by this company.

I called Dirk DeRose with FamilySAFE on about 8/8/10. He replied the same day and made an appointment to come by our house to consult with us about what size safe room we should buy and where to install it in the garage. Dirk is very knowledgable about safe rooms and answered all of our questions thoroughly. He helped us figure out the best place to put the safe room and recommended a good size for us, which was actually a less expensive size than we had originally thought we'd need. We ordered the safe room from him, and he told us someone from the production department would call us when it was ready, to make an appointment for installation. Dirk said it would take about two weeks for our safe room to be built, since we were ordering during the "non-busy season." (Early spring is their busiest season, apparently.) About a week after we ordered the safe room, the rep from the production department called and said she had a safe room ready for us. She said a builder had ordered a safe room identical to the one we needed, but the builder wasn't ready for the unit because the house he was putting it in wasn't quite at the proper stage of construction. So, we made an appointment for the FamilySAFE installers to come out and bolt the safe room to the concrete slab in our garage. They arrived on time on the day we had chosen, and installed the safe room in about an hour or so. Everyone we have had contact with at FamilySAFE has been friendly, knowledgable, professional, responsive, and punctual. We highly recommend them.
