We finally decided to let him go because 4 mos into this and not one project was completed. We were to have a french door put in but my wife no longer felt safe with him so we cancelled that. It would probably take him another 4 mos to get that put in. The Arbor was not started the stone boarder was no longer completed. The stone planter that was to be created by him was changed and never because I overheard him tell one of his employees that they will not make it big and pretty as were the plans because "they don't have any more money."  There are many peices to this project that have not been started nor have been finished.  His time manangement skill and his professionalism are terrible.  Please stay away from this contractor.I now am completing these projects on my own and have spent more money than expected to get this done.Now I can complete this on my time and it will probably be done quicker than he would do it.

At first the work went real well (started job on 9-14-2011), they were there a lot but then around Thanksgiving they started putting other jobs in front of ours. we had paid them a lot up front. the job ended up costing us $35K.  He first promised completion at thanksgiving. then that did not happen then Christmas and that did not happen then on 1-21 I begged him to finish. He was always very rude and defensive when we requested/insisted on him finishing the job.  So on 2-9 we finally gave him the next to last payment of $1500 and that is when we both signed the finished contract date of 3-1. He never showed up, kept having excuses until I told him I needed it done by 3-9 as family was coming over. He came on 3-9 and worked the whole day but did not finish ONE thing. We had a signed contract that they would be finished on 3-1, but they did not finish,  we finally fired them on 4-5. They never finished the job.. still had the fountain, sealing the floors, finishing stone around grill, mantel for fireplace, and some painting.
