I was very happy with New Beginnings Upholstery. They were punctual picking up my chairs and delivered them back to me on the date promised. The quality of work is exceptional! I would definitely use them and highly recommend them!

They finished the jobs when they promised.

We exchanged messages thru Angies List. Connected by phone. He came by to give me a free estimate. I accepted the estimate and sent the chairs with him that day. He worked on tha chairs and adjusted his return delivery date to accomodate my travel schedule and I love the chairs that he returned. Great solid guy to work with. I have already recommended him to others.

Jerry Beckwith came to my house at the appointed time, confirmed the estimate he'd given me on the phone and took the chair and ottoman to his shop along with the fabric I had purchased. He didn't even ask for a deposit. He brought the pieces back two weeks later and I couldn't be happier. The furniture looks great and he was very easy to work with. I've got an old secretary and will have Jerry re-finish it soon.

Called them up out of the yellow pages, after having called other Corpus Christi upholstery firms (with and wo. referrals) to no avail. They did not return calls or did not show up for estimates. One other company gave me an outrageously high estimate (showing very little interest in the job). Jerry and Dawn Beckwith showed up, looked at the items to be reupholstered, brought fabric samples based on what I told them over the phone, provided a very good estimate and gave me a good turnaround. After checking with my husband, I did not have to call them up again. They followed up, and came to pick up the furniture when promised. They delivered when expected and I am very pleased with the results. Jerry did a wonderful job, and he even made the couch slipcover in a way that I do not have to take it out completely to open the bed. The seat part of the slipcover has Velcro all around which it makes it easy to remove and pull out the twin bed. I am planning to give them a bigger job soon. Stay tuned for my next report!
