We've lived here almost 5 years. There are relatively few people who offer service contracts for septic systems. Aransas County mandates you have one. The owner put our septic system in originally when we built our house. I have no problem with that. It was a good job. However, if you need service, don't waste your breath. First of all, it is supposed to be inspected every 4 months. You have no idea if it has been or not, because they never leave a card - which they are supposed to do. My husband just happened to catch them inspecting this past year (hired some people I guess) when he was home. Years prior to that, I don't think it was always done. There would be no way for use to know. This guy NEVER answers his phone. It is a voice recording asking you to leave a message. And then he still never calls back. He does send someone over finally, but not in a timely manner. Just when the spirit moves him. In fact, we asked him to look at the sprinkler heads that put out the cleaned effluent, and we're not sure if he ever showed up for that About a week ago the alarm and light went on. I called in the morning and sure enough had to leave a message. No one came by or called by the afternoon, so I called again. Same thing: answering machine. I asked them to please, please at least just call me back to let me know if I could even use any water, or if they thought they would have to look at it first. Never got a response. So, about three days later, we called another septic service - they answered the phone!!! They also came by that very afternoon to take a look at the system and also leave us a contract (as we will not be using I-10 again.) Later that afternoon (about 4 days after I called I-10), the owner shows up and told my husband, "Sorry for the inconvenience" - Really!?! So, in 4 days time he couldn't even return our call and then just shows up. Too late Buddy!
Description of Work: We had a service contract with this provider to monitor our septic system and fix problems in accordance with the law in Aransas County.
