We contacted the company for a bid. The bid for the work was in 2 parts - 1 for the shower work and the other for a bid on work insurance was going to cover. The contractor was originally responsive and put in a bid that was a little high but probably not too excessive. When the insurance would not approve, they wanted a bid that was more detailed to justify the cost. They were more than willing to work with the contractor and me. After numerous calls and emails, we finally gave up on getting a detailed bid from Curtis Construction and worked with another contractor who came in with a bid that was acceptable to insurance.

Curtis Construction Inc. were very good. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it and at the price that were quoted. There were better than anybody else we've had here doing things, that's for sure. They were excellent.

He is almost finished with the job. I am satisfied with the work. It is an independently owned company. He is on the job daily. He does what he says he is going to do. The house was torn down to the studs and started over. He was very fair with the price. He does very good work.

We are very pleased with the work done and the schedule. Their price is a little higher than others who don't have permanent employees, but the quality more than makes up for the price. Curtis Construction plans their work to allow his people to start the job and work continuously until the job is done. Curtis Construction has several permanent employees who perform the work. The workmanship of all our projects is excellent from the kitchen remodel through the deck, the workshop, and the roofing. The home inspector I hired to check the house overall asked who had done my deck and workshop because he wanted to use them for work on his house. When the home inspector thinks the work is excellent that means something.
