I called Allen Air on a Friday at about 730pm expecting to leave a voicemail. To my surprise Rick answered and said he could be over that night to check it out. Rick came out and diagnosed the problem. They ended up swapping out my internal unit. Great work and outstanding service. This is the company you want to hire in the Rockport area!

My wife and I were packing up to leave town when we noticed our AC wasn't working. We've had Allen Air Conditioning out previously and they've always provided great service, so we called Rick at about 7:00 pm and left a message. Within two minutes he had called back, and within 20 minutes he was at our house to diagnose and repair the AC. Just as with the other times, he was surprisingly quick to respond, very personable, honest, and professional, and had the problem fixed quickly. He took the time to explain what the problem was and answered all of our questions. We would wholeheartedly recommend Allen Air Conditioning and know that they'll continue to be the only ones we'll call in the future.

The owner responded to any call I have ever made to him. I did not have to wait days for a call back . When he said he would be there , he was. He installed quality products always. I highly recommend Allens AC, company.

Allen Air Conditioning and Electric has been reasonably priced and efficient. Owner Rick James insured the workmanship was of high quality and his staff was professional and courteous. They show up on time and get the work done quickly. Rick responded quickly to requests for assistance and provided design suggestions that saved us a lot of money.

Please know that Allen air conditioning did a wonderful job installing our air conditioning. The crew at Allen Air Conditioning are very professional and courteous and care about their customers. Allen A/C came out and submitted a bid against 2 other company's as is standard practice for most businesses. They were awarded the contract and conducted the work in the time they sadi they would . As an extra benefit to the us and at no additional charge they installed the a/c unit on a weekend so there was no disruption to my place of business. The inside and outside units were replaced. They work flawlessly and have kept us cool through some very hot days. We keep the office at 67. The unit started acting up and wasn't cooling like originally. we called them and they were there in about an hour. They found a loose nut on one of the lines and said they put in about 6 pounds of coolant and would be back to finish topping it off. It was already much cooler and working better. They were back in about 2 hours and completed the job all at no charge. Since this service my company has began using Allen A/C and electrical for all of our A/C maintenance and concerns. We have 4 five ton units that they keep running. I would recommend their services to all businesses that want to fight the Texas heat.

It went very well. He was referred to me by a family member, and I was reluctant to call them because they're out of Rockport and I'm in Corpus Christi and wondered if he'd be willing to come out and give me an estimate let alone do the job. Rick came out himself, cut right to the chase and recommended I replace the outside unit all-together. I have a close friend in San Antonio that owns his own HVAC company and he recommended I replace both the inside and outside, but Rick assured me I just needed the outside. He could have billed me double for replacing both, but he figured out a way to make it work with just the outside. My buddy in SA was shocked at how little I paid for an entire outside unit. And that he didn't insist on doing a job that didn't need to be done. PS - not long after I dealt with Rick and his company, I went to Home Depot and bought a fancy piece of garbage for a thermostat. I'm not very handy, but regardless I tried to install it myself. When I got frustrated and gave up on it, I called Rick for help because he was so easy to deal with. He told me he was on vacation and would love to help but was out of town. Then he called me back and told me he was sending someone over right away. In an hour this kid came over and helped me install the new thermostat for next to nothing. It was obvious they want repeat business. Very cool to deal with all around.

Our AC was back operational in no time. Took care not to make a mess while working on our unit.

Allan A/C did a wonderful job and completed the work requested in a timely fashion. They assisted me with finding a financial service. They were very quick so I wasn't without a/c for long. They also gave me many options for an a/c unit. The one they sold me has a life time warranty. After about 4 months the a/c stopped working. they came out diagnosed it and replaced the whole outside unit for free. No fees for any visits when I had questions regarding components and an aftermarket thermostat that I put in my self. Over all very professional and the price was right for the services rendered. I would use them again if I could do it all over. If I ever need a/c work in the future I will call them. I have also recommended them to friends and family. True top quality and knowledge.

The full crew showed up early in the morning at the exact time they said they would. It was somewhat challenging because they had to install the inside unit (evaporator coil and air handler) in the cramped attic space. The attic access drop ladder had to be removed to even allow the the new inside unit to be installed, but they removed and re-installed the drop ladder pretty well. A bunch of these guys actually worked through lunch, and I certainly did not expect that. They were able to complete the entire job in a little over 6 hours, which for a near complete system replacement is pretty impressive. The system they installed (Amana) has worked well so far and is far superior to my previous system. Overall, I am giving Allen A/C high marks.

Allen A/C was recommended to me by a close friend that manages one of the largest HVAC equipment distributors in the southwest. When I bought the house a couple of years ago, Allen A/C owner, Rick James, did an excellent job upgrading the filter and improving the ducting of my 15 year old, poorly installed, obsolete system. I recently decided to replace that system and Rick designed and installed a new high efficiency, zoned system in my home. He quoted what I considered to be a very fair price. Much to my surprise, his bid included replacing most of the pre existing duct work in addition to installing the new system. The work was completed on time and the new systems works great. I will continue to call on Rick for my A/C work.
