He's awesome. He came out and took care of everything. It was great. He took care of all the removal, pulled the water heater, brought it up to code, ran some new water lines.

I would not recommend them at all. They so some other stuff on Angie's List so I do see them on there. I used them  but I do not recommend them.  The price was fine but they messed up a bunch of stuff. The price was not a problem. The responsiveness was pretty good though because I got nasty with them about it. They damaged stuff when they did it.  I used them for multiple things. He nearly set a fire on one of the things, he left the brochure on it and it burned up against the hot water heater. It was a disaster. There was a hot water heater involved.

He was very nice. This is how he acted about it and he said, "Well, I hate to charge you if I can't find it." That's just how nice he was about the whole thing and I said, "Look, I'd definitely pay you. We've got to find this leak so we can get this fixed." He did a good job and he was very nice. They were not trying to overcharge me. The man was just very fair. I would definitely recommend him.

There were no troubles with scheduling and they came in about a week of us calling them. They were responsive and got back to us right away. They worked with us and made the deal apply to all the work that we had done with some additional. They were very nice and cleaned up great after finishing the jobs. Everything turned out very well.

It was an unusual leak-  when the shower was running, the leak formed on the roof of the first floor.  I would have thought that the leak was in the shower plumbing.  But, the leak was actually caused by a faulty wax seal in the adjoining toilet.  Jonathan was very personable, and professional.  I highly recommend him.

I think they're good guys. They responded quickly and they did what they said they're going to do. The price was reasonable and the work was good. They fail to get a permit to replace the water heater.

By explaining the problem and the results of my troubleshooting, Jonathan arrived at my home with a good idea of what was likely the problem.  He had also deduced that it was most likely the cold water side of the water heater that was the problem, actually, rather than the hot water itself.  It was a scary process to observe, but literally within minutes, the failed part was in my hand so that I could examine it, and a new one was being put in place -- one without the built-in obsolescence of the original one.   I was extraordinarily satisfied with the quality of the work, his depth of knowledge, and responsiveness.  This was the most satisfactory result I've had in a long time.

Came out and did the replacement quickly and professionally. It cost more than I had anticipated but it was done expeditiously which I really appreciated. They did honor an Angies list coupon that they did not realize was still circulating around. Without the coupon it would have been $1200.00 with the coupon it was $1000.00. They were courteous, professional and even called back to make sure everything was working properly.

Was very quick to get to the property to do the repairs.

I called Asics and was able to schedule an appointment quickly. Jon and his son came and completed all the work. They worked for about two to three hours. They replaced my old toilets with comfort height water saving toilets. They corrected a problem left behind by a less responsible plumber (reversed hot and cold water in a bathtub) and replaced a cartridge in order to correct a leak in another tub faucet. They also secured a loose outside faucet. They also hauled off the old toilets. 
A couple of weeks after this work was done, I noticed that the leaky tub faucet was leaking again. I called Jon and he and his son picked up a replacement cartridge and arrived at my house an hour or two later. They determined that the original cartridge was faulty and replaced it. This repair was done at no cost to me.
This father and son team do excellent work. In addition, they stand behind their work. I am so happy to have found a good, honest plumber and will continue to be a customer!

Install a new water heater

Called and got a response quickly to the voice mail we left. Came out and found where the ice had broken a hard faucet. They said they would get us fixed up and ready to have our water turned back on. Didn't take long. Was able to use our coupon for being AL members and we weren't waterless for long. Now we just need to pay our water bill!

Based on the low flow tank plumbing, Jon was able to adjust to allow the tank to flush and refill (previously would not refill).  Jon was very thorough, explained exactly what he was doing, and how to fix on my own in the future if the problem reoccurs.

Jonathan did a great job!  We were in a bind because we were unable to complete the job ourselves and were without water in the kitchen due to the fact that we had already removed the kitchen faucet.  I didn't think I would be able to find anyone to come on short notice on the Saturday before Christmas, but I was pleasantly surprised when I contacted Jonathan and he was able to come within an hour or so.  He was very professional and it was obvious that he knew exactly what he was doing.  We are very pleased with the outstanding job he did and will not hesitate to call him again the next time we need any plumbing work done.

Outstanding service!  Jon and his son CJ responded quickly when I called.  Jon quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem, explained the situation, and gave me the options.  I made my decision which required him to come back again later to install the heater I had chosen.  They were back later the same day to do the job.  It was not an easy one because of the logistics involved, but they did a superb job. After the installation he took the time to explain how the new unit functioned and settings I might choose to change in the future.  I am very happy with the result and would not hesitate to call Asics again.

Awesome father and son team.  They offered lots of info on how to maintain the disposal and got it working again.  Also changed a water filter.   Would call them again.

Was very pleased with all aspects of Asics Plumbing. Father and son came out within 2 hours of call. They were able to fit my job in between jobs. Leaky hot water heater. Also a couple of leaky faucets, leaky toilet. Fixed everything in about an hour and was able to save me some money by using parts I had already purchased for the job. Very personable and professional. About a week latter my hot water heater went out, NOT Asics fault , heater was over 15 years old, from Home Depot , life is only 12 years, stress on joints was just too much. Anyway result was that we needed a new unit. Was going to cost more than we could afford so my husband and son decided to put it in themselves as a father/son project. They ran into problems right away. I called Asics to have them take over job. They were so nice and gave my husband guidance over the phone. We were able to finish ourselves. Asics is honest and a good company to work with. I highly recommend them. Will call again.

He was easy to work with and schedule.  He installed a toilet I had purchased at Lowe's.    He also flushed/drained my water heater.    While he was here, he took the time to look at a few drains and my kitchen disposal for me and was very patient and took extra time to explain things to me and answer all my questions.    It is now several months later and I have had no problems.  I am very happy with his work and would use him again.

Jonathan and his team are always very responsive, quick to get out to us, personable, and fair with pricing and backing up their work.  He has installed a new hot water heater for us, changed out the fitting to our propane stove, repaired several broken pipes at our rental properties, installed new shower and tub fixtures in 2 bathrooms, and probably much more that I am forgetting.  He is kind, courteous, friendly, willing to explain, and wants his customers to be happy and satisfied.  We like him so much that we recommended him to the property management company we work with and they like him so much that they now use him for their plumbing needs too.  He travels from somewhere out our way (Taylor) all the way to downtown Austin so he's able to service areas like ours that normally seem to get left by the wayside.  If you are looking for a great plumber who is also a stand-up human being, call Asics Plumbing!

HOGHLY recommend them to anyone IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN A BETTER EXPERIENCE! Having a clogged sink was the last thing I wanted to deal with! Not only were they prompt, they were very friendly, and let me know how to prevent incidents like this from happening and took time to explain what they were doing. They were WONDERFUL!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone I know, and from now on they are officially me new plumbers!

I initially contacted Jonathan on Wednesday and explained that I needed a water heater installation. I had purchased the replacement water heater and pan myself. He stopped by and we discussed the particulars of the job and he gave me a quote which included the permit for inspection.  I was impressed with his professionalism and the price was reasonable so we scheduled the installation for Friday. After he left, he called me back to say that he had pulled the permit from the city and scheduled the inspection for Friday afternoon. 
Jonathan and CJ arrived Friday morning and proceeded to take out the old water heater. As a result he also discovered why we were experiencing low water pressure on the hot side. As it turned out the old water heater had failed internally in such a way to cause the water to not be very hot and low pressure. They proceeded to install the new water heater, including the gas sediment line, pan, and expansion tank, all required by local code. The installation was done in a very professional manner with attention to detail in all aspects. When finished they insulated the incoming and outgoing water lines and removed the old water heater and cleaned the area up - cleaner than they had found it.
The installation is working perfectly and the city inspection went without incident.
Jonathan is a master plumber with 20 years of experience, and I would not hesitate to use him for my future plumbing needs.

Jon Betak was very professional and caring, as well as knowledgeable about the problem we were facing ? a clogged bathtub spout with just a trickle of water coming through. With only days away from closing, I had to get this problem taken care of for my clients. Another (well-known) company, after already charging my clients hundreds of dollars to clean the spout (unsuccessfully), wanted to break through the wall and replace the valve and several pipes. It would have cost over $1,000, not even taking into account
the cost of replacing the tile. It wasn't something they would do, so we would have to hire someone separate to finish the job. Not only costly, but all the unnecessary work would have delayed the closing.
Jon knew right away what the problem was, over the phone! He came over and fixed the problem within a few minutes, charging my clients a minimal amount, compared to the other company. We were all very pleased and were able to close on time. As a Realtor, I will always call him for any plumbing issues with my clients. As a homeowner, I will always use his services and refer him to friends
and clients.
