Kelly is a very nice, dependable, hard-working young man. He is licensed in irrigation. I mentioned that my water bill had been quite high and he wondered if I had noticed a unusually wet area in my yard, or if my neighbor boy who mows my yard had noticed anything like that. I had not and yard boy was not around. So Kelly checked all through front yard and found a very soaked area. He started digging and found 2 pipes (one on top of another) with holes in them. When a tree had been planted (over a year ago) in that area the landscaper planting that tree had put 3 metal stakes around the tree to keep tree from being blown over by a strong wind. One of those stakes evidently penetrated those piipes. At the time I and the person who planted the tree did not know, but when I took stakes out (over a year later) the holes showed up, unknown to me. Kelly fixed pipes (not an easy task, since these pipes were put in without much space around them and were on 2 different stations). He inspected and adjusted all sprinkler heads and also replaced 4 rotor heads and 5 nozzles. He worked till into the evening and came back the next day to check the fixed pipes and fill in the holes with removed soil and more top soil. He worked about 5 hours in total. The charge for all this was very reasonable - $249.50 I am a very satisfied customer!
