STUDEBAKER IRRIGATION

After our water bill went from $40 to $400, we became aware that we had a significant leak in our back yard.  We have about an acre behind our house that has a fenced area with stables and a tack room with running water as well as a sprinkler system separate and independent of the one in the front yard.  There were many variables to be considered in finding the underground leak, not to mention the continuous rains we've been experiencing for weeks.  It was difficult to find anyone willing to help mostly due to the very saturated soil and the resulting difficulty of digging and determining whether the water was from the leak or the saturated soil. We had a leak detector come out.  He came out of his truck telling us he probably wouldn't be able to find the leak but he would try. He was right, he could not find it but he had the attitude that it would be impossible to find from the beginning. Travis stuck with the project determined to see it resolved.  He has excellent trouble shooting skills and was very diligent at working through the possible causes until he was able to narrow it down to a solution.  Travis is very personable and explains what he is doing, even giving mini tutorials on "how things work" when needed.  He's hardworking, honest and priced very reasonably.  Just wish we could find a plumber and an HVAC repairman of his caliber.   We have been using Travis for the last 4 years and he has always done an excellent job.  A+++ Service!!

Excellent!!  Travis is our Go To Guy for anything related to our sprinkler system.  He has done several jobs for us and has always done excellent work for a very fair price.  He's honest, extremely knowledgeable, and willing to spend time with you to be sure you understand the problem and what he is doing to repair it.

I had Travis come out several times to work on the same zone and he was convinced he could fix it but he never did. The last time I called him to tell him it still was not working he did not return my calls. Initially I was concerned about him since he had always been responsive. After 3 phone calls to him I had a friend of mine call him and he did return her call so I knew at that point he was okay and was just blowing me off. I left him a message telling him I thought he was more of a stand-up guy than that and obviously I was wrong. I still have a zone he worked on numerous times with no permanent fix and I was out at least $300.00 over the course of his visits.
I will never use him or recommend him again and I want my original recommendation of him taken down from Angie's list.

We had an outrageous water bill and I immediately sought Angie's List and found his information, liked his reviews and called him. He responded very quickly and was able to come out the following day. It turns out that part of my less than year old electronic sprinkler system was ruined by a power surge from a recent storm. He did a thorough evaluation of my sprinklers and found that a few of them were broken, so her replaced them for me. Lucky for me, he just happened to have the part of my electronic sprinkler system in his truck because he needed to use the other part at another house.
He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, plus a month later, he called to follow up to see if my water bill had gone down and sure enough, it was well below it's normal amount. Travis is the best!!! I won't ever use anyone else.

Travis, the tech who serviced our irrigation system, was prompt, efficient, and courteous. He was probably at our house about two hours, checking everything, making sure each station and each head functioned properly. He explained the programing system to me so that I can now manage it better. He had the proper equipment so that he could finish the job without having to leave and come back at a later time.

It's kind of difficult to get ahold of them. After that service I had a need with them again. I ended up going with another company because they didn't respond. But when they do, do their work they seem to be very quick and professional.

I was quite satisfied with the price. It took them about two hours. I haven't had any problems.

We had a sprinkler zone that would not turn off. He figured out the problem and fixed it.

Originally I thought he was great and it turned out that he was not. He did not fix one of my zones and was unrespsonsive when I tried to follow up with him

Their price was extremely reasonable. They were honest, very fast in working and did a good job. I would rate them high overall and would use them again in the future.

Travis is quite busy so it took him a couple of days to get to us, but it was worth the wait. Replaced 4 heads and fixed a broken irrigation line. Charged $70 which I thought was extremely reasonable. Will use him again.

This is the second time we have used Studebaker Irrigation. Both times Travis was prompt in getting back to us. He repaired a sprinkler head each time and adjusted other heads to better serve our changing landscape. His estimates were spot on and if something changed, he let us know exactly what it would cost. We will definitely use the company again.

We called him to tell him that two - three sprinklers weren't working or aimed right. He never billed and we didn't hear back from him. Nice guy though.

The only problem was after he left, my husband found a sprinkler head in the backyard that was not fixed and we still have one spraying so much water that it floods the patio area.

It was very thorough and efficient. Travis is very knowledgable, and helpful. He was willing to answer all my questions and walk me through the process and advise me as to how to get the maximum use of the sprinklers.

We called Studebaker Irrigation several years ago to adjust our sprinklers which were not reaching all areas of the yard. Travis did such a good job that we have called him back every spring to fine tune our sprinklers and make sure everything is working properly. It's a small price to pay to preserve our landscaping and make sure we don't have any "gushers".

I called Travis on a Saturday and he returned my call Sunday. He was able to come out on Monday and fix the sprinkler head as well as walk through the controller with me. I was very pleased with his punctuality and thoroughness. I will definitely use him again.

Travis was very responsive calling back in a timely manner and always keeping us informed of his progress. He showed up when he said he would and did the work quickly. We could not be more impressed, and highly recommend.

He responded to our call quickly and checked/worked on our sprinkler system. In the past we called him to fix a sprinkler head that was run over near our driveway. He proposed and installed a flex pipe that has withstood being run over again. We will definitely call Studebakers again.
