McCollum's Painting

These people are the best that I have ever dealt with.  The work was OUTSTANDING . They did a great job , cleaned up after them selves and worked like everything all day long.  I orginally only wanted them to do the outside of the house but now I am going to hire them to do the inside too.  If there was an  A++ rating, they would get it from me.      

The painters were on time.  They did a great job and were very friendly.  I was very happy to know that it was a family business.

We were thrilled with the quality of the work that was done, and were also pleased to have someone with whom we were comfortable in our home. We came and went without hesitation, knowing that our home was in good hands. Mr. McCollum works with his sons who were well mannered and polite. They took down window coverings and replaced them after the paint was dry. They moved furniture, wall hangings, etc. Mr. McCollum was a great help with color suggestions and was better than hiring a decorator. He did several things for which he did not charge. The last thing he did was inspect every square inch of painted surface to do any touch up work that was needed. He cleaned up each evening and stored the painting equipment out of the way so that we could move around throughout the house easily. We now have a 14 year old house that looks new. We learned about how to paint and tape, what paints to use, what brushes to use, and how to clean the walls. The work was done by true professionals.

We received several estimates and chose McCollum's based on a friend's recommendation and their reasonable estimate. The Faux work included removing the old wall paper, texture on walls and two coats paint with hand "blotting" to achieve the desired final finish. Because of the multiple steps, it took four days to complete. Wayne McCollum was considerate of our need to use our kitchen and cleaned up each day to avoid any inconvenience to us.
