THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME CALLING SOMEONE FOR ASSEMBLING FURNITURE.  I HAD ORDERED CONSOLE FROM WAL-MART.  TWO PEOPLE CAME TO ASSEMBLE THE FURNITURE.  THEY ASSEMBLED VERY QUICKLY BUT AFTER THEY LEFT I NOTICED THAT AT COUPLE OF PLACES THERE WERE SOME ISSUES.  I CALLED THE OWNER.  HE SENT SOMEONE RIGHT AWAY AND FIXED THE PROBLEM.

They did a great job. I am happy with everything.

Assembled Ikea furniture. My experience was a good one, but not what I call great. The two guys assembled the furniture so quickly I paid them more than the quote--so I was disappointed they didn't offer to throw out the boxes on their way out. It would have been so easy for them to go above and beyond to earn a loyal customer. I was quoted $119--but paid $140.

A team of 3 arrived and worked professionally. They efficiently assembled the Americana style bed and matching dresser and night stand, all to high quality standards.. The canopy bed that I had ordered, however, did not fit onto the frame that I already had. Rather than assembling all the parts they could and leaving it ready to just add the part that I had to order, they asked that I order the part and call them to reschedule and then there might be a service fee if they were not already in the area. When I ordered the part and received it, I ended up beginning and completing the task myself rather than going through the appointment process and perhaps receiving an additional charge.

They called to tell me they were running late but showed up at the new time they gave me, they were incredibly quick and efficient - it took them less than 90 minutes to put together two sofa tables, a dining buffet and a trundle daybed. They didn't leave a mess, everything was assembled corrected and I plan to use them again.

Unico team arrived at agreed time. I showed them cartons in first floor bedroom where I needed a metal bedframe assembled, and they got busy. These guys are pros. They know what they're doing AND they know HOW to do it, so your furniture and floors (mine are exposed hardwood) are not scratched, dinged or damaged. Unico team works very efficiently and effectively. After unpacking furniture components, they always take cardboard shipping cartons and other packing trash out to the garage. When they finish their work, the furniture is ready to use, the room is clean of packing mess, and I have never had a complaint. One of the most amazing things about Unico is they carry in all the equipment they need in one small metal silver attache case. Now THAT is high efficiency in action!

Unico Assembly is the recommended furniture assembly company under contract with IKEA Houston. I hired them to put together several pieces of new furniture because my time is very limited right now. They were easy to work with - got my appointment on the day and time I wanted - the two men, Steven and Jeff, were excellent - so quick, neat, and helpful! I think IKEA has found the right company to represent them out in the field.
