Terry's A/C & Heating LLC

Rob Terry came out to our home within a couple hours of our placing a call to the Terry's A/C & Heating office. (Office personnel were helpful and efficient.) Rob contacted me when he was on his way and quickly diagnosed the problem after arriving (condenser fan was overheating and turning off episodically). He let us know the cost of the repairs in advance, to which we agreed. He replaced the fan motor and capacitor, and the house began to cool down right away. Can't imagine a more favorable experience than the one we had with Rob Terry.

Installation went well and took about 3 hours. Had to wait out thunderstorms. A/C unit went out on Friday night and Mr. Terry came out on Saturday morning and determined we needed a new unit (5-ton Carrier) our old unit was 14 years old. He brought back a portable unit to use until he could get the new unit installed on Monday. Mr. Terry provided honest quality service all around. We have recommended him to others and plan to use his service in the future.

They're very, very honest.  Sometimes, it may be a few days before he can get to you.   But if you're having a problem, he will try to get there asap. We haven't used anyone else for years so I don't know how he is compared to others.  I trust him.

We've been using them for the past 15 and they are excellent. We like their professionalism, responsiveness, and the way they conduct their business. They're a top notch company. They are used for all of our heating and AC requirement.

Rob and his Dad came out to the house and replaced the coil in a timely manner. They were polite and very friendly. They did a good job and warranty their work.

My first experience was April 13, 2009. My downstairs unit was not working. I had called a well established company and that company told me I needed two brand new units for both upstairs and downstairs. I got Terry's phone number for a previous repair service that doesn't make service calls to my location. I phone Terry's, they came the same day, and repaired the blower motor and charged the unit. They were and have continued to be friendly and professional. I will always use and recommend them for any AC and Htg repair,

After Hurricane Ike our A/C unit was smashed by a tree limb. After calling many A/C companies, Terry came out and said we did not need a new unit. They simply straighten the A/C housing and we got two and a half years more life out of the A/C for $100.00.

In March of 2011 the A/C went out and called on Terry's again. The were on time professional and delivered exactly what was promised. They replaced the outside compressor and did not try and sell a whole unit, stating that the rest of the equipment was in good working order, even though it was 20+ years old.

Will use again and again.

They seem to be quite honest and helpful as opposed to many of the other ones. I was more interested in getting an honest opinion and estimate on how much it would cost to replace this compressor and they gave me this.

First, Mr. Terry and his son had excellent communication by returning phone calls in a timely manner and keeping appointments as scheduled. When they arrived they evaluated our AC system and found a minor problem with some of the tubing in the Attic having air leaks. This was causing extra strain on the system in the peak of the summer. Mr. Terry taped up the air holes and cleaned the outside condenser, all for $80.00. There was nothing else wrong with our unit. It certainly did not need complete replacement! He saved us $5000 of unnecessary work, and gave us very important information about new AC refrigerant requirements. In January of 2010, all newly manufactured AC units will use a different kind of coolant. If we had replaced our perfectly fine unit now, it would only have been outdated within 2 years!!!! Mr. Terry and his son were professional, and even more rare these days, honest. They have earned my lifelong business.

Measured old unit dimensions in advance. Figured out how to remove the old unit and install the new one. Performed work in about 6 hours.
