I cannot recommend them. I had an Ameristar Fence installed and per Ameristar guidelines any cuts to the fence or openings should be filed, primed with Ameristar primer and painted with two coats of Ameristar paint. I had gates holes that were beginning to rust shortly after the fence was installed because Stallion did not follow Ameristar specific guidelines. Additional any touch up to the fence should be done with Ameristar paint. Stallion fence initially provided me a spray can of Rust-Oleum paint (I still have the spray can the salesperson gave me) I had to bring this to their attention that using the spray paint may void the Ameristar warranty. They did provide me with two cans of Ameristar paint to touch up areas scratched during transport and installation of the fence. They also initially installed the wrong finals. The salesperson replaced them with the correct finials, but he used the head of a metal hammer to install the correct finals damaging the top of the finials. The initial installer used a block of wood, so the finials would not be damaged. Second the salesperson would state he call me when he didn't. I had to request the Ameristar warranty from the company. I would advise you get every detail of the contract in writing. I will not use this company again. My rating is based on the overall interaction with this company.

Work was completed in less than one day. Special consideration was given to not disturbing the honey bee hive in cable box (want bees for yard vegetable/fruit plant pollination). Crew brought to my attention, for resolution, a fence height issue before they proceeded, thereby avoiding a problem. Site was left clean.
Response from Stallion Fence Co LLC
"[Member Name Removed], thank you so very much, we value your honey bees as much as our own !:) Thanks for being such a great customer."

A group of 8-10 neighbors got together and decided to replace our fences, which were about 23 years old. Amongst the groupe, we spoke with many providers and found Stallion to be the most 'interested' in the job. They were quick with response during the bid process and made sure all our questions were answered. In short, they quoted a great price and did a good job.
The primary issue I had with the service was not necessarily an 'issue' on their end, but likely related to the fact that there were so many of us replacing fences at the same tine. My problem was being without a fence for multiple days, as they would tear down several houses' worth, let the posts set, then work on framing and putting up pickets. I feel if I had done my house alone, it would have been a 2 day process, but in the 'group scenario', it drug out into 3-4. This would not be a problem except for my dogs... and I found that communication with *individuals* along the way was lacking, as I guess they expected the first person who contacted them to be the only point of contact.
There were a few minor issues to address once they completed the fence (ie replace a few pickets, put a handle on the inside of the gate, put a board across the bottom of the gate so the dogs can't stick their heads out under it), but they were responsive and completed the work to my satisfation.
All-in-all, I would highly recommend their services, as I feel the 'hiccups' I experienced were simply a result of so many replacing fences at once.
Response from Stallion Fence Co LLC
"[Member Name Removed], thanks so much for your feedback, and we will certainly learn from these hiccups so they don't happen again. I totally understand your concern with that and I agree, one house at a time ! Thanks again we appreciate your patience and understanding !"

My overall experience with this company was poor. I found the owner Brady to be a bully; he resorted to insults and raised his voice when I expressed my dissatisfaction. His workers were sloppy and cut corners throughout the project. It seems like this company does not take any pride in it's work but rather just wants to get paid. There were multiple issues with this project so I will only list a few below.
1. The bricks that the iron panels were attached to in the front and side yards are stained with black paint over spray even though we were assured that they would remove all the panels prior to the refurbishing and painting of the iron panels.
2. The refurbished panels were poorly prepared, and they just painted over some of the rusted areas, which began to bubble within a few weeks of installation. I pointed out areas on the bottom of the panels that were not prepared or painted and I was told by Brady that his guy must have missed it.
3. The new gates had multiple scratches on the day of installation. There were multiple sharp edges and welded joints that were not properly ground to a smooth finish. The gate handle on the side yard does not work properly. The caps are still missing from the top of the gates. The welded joints started showing signs of rust within a few weeks.
4. They attached the rear fence to the side fence at two different heights on opposite sides of the yard. The scratches and accidental holes they drilled in the backyard fence were not addressed at the end of the project.
