Panda Bay

The only other Chinese restaurant in our area had shut down... thus because we like Chinese and do not want to have to travel many miles to get it... we started going to the Panda Bay Restaurant in Rockport Texas.  We normally would drop in for a late lunch now and then while out running our errands.
It normally was the same waitress who waited on us and we noticed that she would always bring back only large bills in change if she could get away with it... we commented on it a couple of times.  The time before last when we were there she brought back a 5 and a 10 with some coins... Dad commented on it again.  I said she is trying to force you to pay her more than the 15%.  Well we were both upset over these coercive manipulations on the part of the waitress ... who if the truth be known did not even deserve the 15%!!!  Her service was minimal.
The last time we were in which was on the 27th...  immediately she acted unfriendly like she had a problem.  There was only one other couple in the restaurant at the time.  [Which is also a statement in and of itself about this restaurant.]  However...  She was more unfriendly than usual, albeit, her standard was 3 times to the table one to get your order...  two to drop it off and,,,  3 to bring the bill and that usually was after having to wait far too long for that to happen and having to flag her down.
When the other couple got up and left ... the waitress... the same one that is always there when we come, who money-grubs for tips...  she does not earn!  Starts pulling out chairs [and they are big chairs so they make allot of noise] and banging them together and flailing a Mop on the floor and in the air near our table ... the restaurant is large she did not have to be anywhere near us but she was doing this next to our table - pulling out chairs banging them together... flailing the filthy mop around our feet and table... and blatantly making as much noise and upset as she could generate! 
Dad said what is she doing this for... I said I could tell she was miffed at us last time we were in... and you did not giver the 5.00 or the 10.00 -- so now she is evidently going to "get us"...  
Sure enough... she finally stops after about 10 minutes of the banging abuse and walks over to the table puts her hands on her hips and says louldly... Does that make you Happy.  And spins on her heals and walks off!!
My kindly, 90 yr old Dad still paid her the 15% tip that she sooo did not deserve!  She should be fired... what she did is evil and extremely abusive to the max!  You pay your good hard earned money to be able to relax a bit while you eat and not be badgered or manipulated over the tip the Waitress decides to  "Demand"  out of you.
The fact that this waitress... felt comfortable in abusing regular customers who are regular money for the restaurant... as we were... reveals a great deal about the owner of this restaurant! 
We will never be back and neither will our relatives or friends!  If you are regulars and you do not give her your 5's or 10's she will abuse you the next time... if you are one timers you will walk away... perhaps... with an average visit... the food is up and down... sometimes soggy veggies and the longer the restaurant has been open the less meat in the dishes that have multiples in them where he can just put in tiny pieces of meat... yet another story!
