Communication was good despite rescheduling on company's part and offering a 10% military discount, however, after specifically placing ad here and communicating through email that I needed my yard level for installation of an 18ft round above-ground pool, I was left with chunks of rock sand and unleveled surface. I asked for Mike to come back out and take out all the rocks and pound the sand down and was told no that he actually took a hit and quoted me below what he should've and that I needed Masonary sand instead. So, instead of Mike doing the job correctly the first time, I now have to take him to court because I can't get my refund of the remainder of the money I paid after the deposit because I used Zelle and my bank won't refund me.

Mike came at our impromptu last minute request to look at cleaning up our flower beds, wedding,trimming, planting and relocating different plants in the front and back beds. He was great at making suggestions for what to plant based on sun and shade loactions of our beds and how to place new plantings. His estimate arrived within 24 hours as promised and was within our planned budget. He was able to schedule just as we had discussed and showed up on time with his crew 2 days later. His team was detail oriented and at different stages of the work asked my opinio wanting to be sure I was pleased with the completion of the work they had done before continuing on to the next phase of work. I really appreaciated this. Mike also offered suggestions on what we could do to maintain parts of the garden ourselves. We will not hesiste to call Mike's Complete Landscaping when it comes time for quarterly maintenance.

Mike and his team were excellent. We wanted a brand new flowerbed, removing everything and starting from scratch. Even removing a palm tree. Mike came a few days earlier to take a look and he immediately had great suggestions on how to deal with some concerns, i.e. rain water runoff from my house that created back-splash on my bricks and a hole. He was going to build the flower bed off my house a little creating a dry river bed to prevent the back-splash and erosion. We liked his ideas and hired him. We signed a contract and paid half that night. Mike and 3 crew members came a few days later and immediately began to remove the old plants, bricks, palm tree and excavate the entire area. Within 4 hours they were done. They created a new shape with bender boards, added gravel to prevent any any sag and drainage, mulch, top soil, fertilizer and double stacked red windsor stones. Then they planted a beautiful assortment of ferns, plants, roses, annual color, etc... we are thrilled. They watered, cleaned up and hauled all the old materials away...including the palm tree. They were so fast and efficient. The next project will be to do some grading in our back yard and Mike will be our "go to" for that and every other lawn project in the future. In home services, you always get what you pay for and this investment was well worth it. We are very happy and I couldn't recommend Mike enough.

Mike and his amazing crew were able to work with my ideas, add all new gravel, and plant perennials. Mike stays with his crew and was able to get all work done in 2 days. I was contacted right away after my post, and all requests were answered in a timely manner. He works in my San Antonio area although headquarters in Richmond, TX. I was VERY pleased with his work.

Mike and his crew exceeded my expectations! I previously hired another landscaper back in March/April for this job and other landscaping projects but fired the guy in July because the work wasn't getting done. I got my quote on Thursday August 15th, the same day that Scott came out to take measurements and Monday August 19th the work was done, all in one day. I have already retained Mike for another project.

Mike's Complete Landscaping was wonderful. We wanted our flower beds re-done, and they were over grown with weeds and grass. We also asked for a stone border. From start to finish, they had great communication with us and answered all of my questions immediately (same day.) Mike was very thorough and knowledgeable when he came to do an estimate. The day of the job, they arrived on time and were courteous and professional. They cleaned up after themselves, including bagging up old plants, plus even removing dirt piles from the street. Our yard looks amazing! I would recommend them in a heartbeat, and have them back again. Very reasonably priced and excellent work.

Mike and his team were very punctual and did a great job fixing my irrigation system and laying sod in my yard. Completed all work quickly and cleaned up nicely. They also did some nice small extras, such as burying an internet cable, replacing the plastic valve covers for the sprinklers and even lubricating the hinges on my gate when they stuck. His office staff is also very responsive to emails, with very quick responses and updating me on their scheduling.

Wow! Mike, Angela and team were truly amazing. My next door neighbor had recommended Mike's, as he has been using his company for 30 years, and my neighbor's lawn and plants always look pristine. Mike came by within 48 hours of my inquiry, walked through my property, and we discussed my needs- like everything I dreamed of doing(but really didn't think I could afford- but it turned out I could!). My current landscaping was ancient and awful, in front, and back was even uglier and unkempt, and parts of the back yard frequently underwater. Mike gave me a quote the next morning, I accepted it (wow, great value!) and sent my deposit, and by a freakish chance, his team was able to come the next day (don't expect this!). His team were like landscape Ninja's. They were fast, nice, efficient, and actually did a few extra little touches to make the project even more elevated. They: ripped out and replanted, and re-landscaped (raised the beds with new dirt, fertilized, mulched) an entire bed across the front of my house, mulched, weeded, and moved the existing plants in a separate front bed under 2 large trees. In the back they sawed down 2 old fences, lay river rock outside of the pool area, built a french drain behind my garage to eliminate the puddling in that area, cleaned up a bed in the back yard, and cut down a tree.They also cleaned up 6 very sad sago palms(now look fresh and healthy!) I am flabbergasted, as their crew did all of this in 8 hours. Then they swept everything up and hosed it down, and now, perfection. Mike has had his company for 40 years, and clearly, really knows his stuff, with a great taste level to boot. I highly recommend Mike's Complete Landscaping.

Terrible; we were home during the appointment time, but apparently the guy was too afraid of our dog on a tie out cable, that kept her from being able to reach the front door, to come knock on our door (or even leave his car). We missed his call (as we are often kept busy by our two disabled kids) and now they no longer want to do business with us based on labeling us a no call no show after I requested a reschedule after they never came to our door.

"Mike went to the customers home on time as we had scheduled, called the customer and after calling her phone waited for a call back or for them to come out of their home, but nobody called back or came out. There was a big dog in the front yard that Mike did not want to take any chances of stepping out of his vehicle because "he does not know" the character of the dog since he would be on the dogs territory, trying to avoid any attacks to himself as he has had a bad experience before. The customer did not call Mike back nor did she call any of our numbers that are on the bottom of the emails during the scheduled appointment to wonder why nobody has showed up or asking if we are coming, since Mike was outside. She emailed us the following day saying she would like to re-schedule. We considered that a "no show no call" because she did not contact us till the following day. We appreciate you considering us and understand life gets busy with work and family. Thank you so much!"

The trees and shrubs in my yard needed a lot of cleaning up after 30 years of mostly neglect. Mike came highly recommended and he lived up to it and more. He's very responsive, got me on his schedule quickly, and then did excellent work at a good price. He and his crew were here on a day when it rained most of the time, but they stuck with it and did a good job, cleaned up thoroughly afterward, and were pleasant to have around. They've got my recommendation any time.

We were very interested in working with such a highly rated company.. He met with us and seemed to be interested. When we contacted him to follow up, he turned us down- didn’t want to do our job. No reason given. Wonder if it’s because we are two women? Never had such an experience. Never even got to pricing.

Mike met with these ladies on April 27th and we sent them a proposal for what was discussed on that appointment. They desired more work so we scheduled another appointment for May 6th. Mike waited for 30 minutes and after no one showed, he left. Then later in the day we received an email from them stating that they sent us a text message advising us of a family emergency, but no such text message was ever received on any of our cell phones. After the miscommunication and their disregard to his original proposal, Mike decided to move forward and expressed to them that he would not be able to work with them at this time."

Back yard ground was bare after another lawn service killed the grass with overtreatment. Mike quoted installation of new sod, plus planting ground cover in a heavily shaded area, and some trimming on a couple of trees that were providing too much shade. Work was done in a timely manner, crew left the area neat and tidy. Two months later, the grass and ground cover still look beautiful and healthy.

We hired Mike's Complete Landscaping to fix our backyard. It's severely shaded by a giant oak tree and was ravaged by web worms a few years ago. Since then it's been a mess of dirt, leaves, and mulch. Mike revitalized the yard with ground cover in the overly shady areas and sod where it's sunny enough to survive. He even used some existing river rocks, that I was expecting to be disposed, to cover drains and keep them from getting clogged with leaves. Everything looks great and I'm really happy to have a functional backyard again.

We had such a wonderful experience with this company. We have had different garden services and landscapers in the past, and our experiences have been average. I emailed this company because of its A rating on Angie's last Saturday. The owner emailed me right back! Then he called on Monday to come and inspect our property and see what needed doing. He had me when he said that his folks know the difference between a weed and a plant! Very heartening because the other companies we used did not. The estimate was detailed and in our price range. he made some excellent suggestions for transforming our backyard and the front garden looks magnificent. Mike and his crew did a wonderful job in making over my yard. He arrived promptly at our appointment to give me a quote, and sent the quote within the day. He and his crew did a professional, thorough job in clearing my overgrown yard, and in putting down weed-stop fabric and gravel. The new garden bed is exactly as we discussed. Mike and his staff were very responsive in helping with the selection of the various plants to be added to the back yard and in scheduling the project to get the best quality product.
