Judith Newton

Over the past three years, Judy has tutored two of my children in Physics, Pre-Cal and Algebra II. She is very professional and teaches in a way that is easy to understand. I appreciate her professionalism and desire to teach!

She is the best tutor I know of because she can handle it all. My children tell me, "I need Mrs. Newton", because they know that after a session with her that they will learn the subject matter and perform better in their classes. Judy also stays on top of where each child is in school, their study habits, and their personalities so that she can customize the session for each. Not sure where we would be without her and hope we'll never have to find out!!

Her assistance enabled our students to understand complex topics and learn the nuance of each subject so that they mastered the materials thus performed well on test.

Judy is great. My son was failing Algebra II and with Judy's help he improved two letter grades. Judy was a teacher for years and was able to break down the subject matter for my son to a level he could understand. A big plus with Judy is that she is familiar witih the Katy ISD curriculum and is able start tutoring immediately while in the past some other tutors we had spent the first 10 minutes trying to understand the subject matter themselves! We also used Judy to help my son prep for the SAT. I would highly recommend Judy if you are looking for a reliable, knowledgable Math tutor in the Katy area.

Great! My son enjoys learning from Judith. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to relate to her clientele. She has always been very responsive, polite, and punctual. My son has been tutoring with Judith for the past year and will continue in the upcoming school year. Currently she is helping him prepare for his ACT & SAT.

Without Ms. Newton, my son would not have passed his math classes. It is as simple as that. Ms. Newton is so very knowledgable and has established a great rapport with my son, who admittedly is not the easiest kid in the world. She has a no nonsense approach which I like, and makes sure he stays on task. She is available literally night and day to help, offering to come back at midnight, if needed, to be ready for an exam the next day. Or she will tell him to send her a photo of a completed worksheet to hold him accountable. Plus, she is another adult of good character and wisdom to give him advice on studying habits and what is needed to move forward for college. She challenges him and she has my son's utmost respect. I have paid more for tutors who provided far less in value. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a tutor for science and math (and perhaps other areas for which we have not retained her services. The cost that I included below is the hourly rate for Ms. Newton, which I believe to be a bargain.
