They were fast and efficient

This was the second time I had First Call come out to replace torsion springs. They did one side about 2 years ago and now the other side broke. They are very responsive, show up on time, and do good work. I'm lowering my rating this time however based on price. The exact same job they did 2 years ago was $449 and this time it was $713, a 59% increase. I asked why it was so much cheaper before and he just said that it's more now.

Tony was awesome. They were able to come out on a Sunday to repair our garage door when the Torsion spring broke making the door basically inoperable since it was so heavy without the spring assist. The pricing was fair and in the middle of the estimated I got and the work came with a 10 year warranty. Since we use this particular garage door a lot and it’s a heavier door he gave me the option to upgrade (with no pressure) to a higher duty cycle spring which we did and you can open the door with two fingers now and that removes some stress from the automated opener as well. While there, he also inspected the other mechanical parts of the door and our other garage and let us know what to look out for and what needed maintenance. He lubricated the wheels, tracks and the other spring. Highly recommended!

One of the torsion springs on my garage door broke and needed replacement. I called First Call on a Sunday morning and they had someone out within about an hour. He gave me the options of replacing just the broken spring, the 2 on that side, or all 4. I chose to replace the 2. Tony completed the work in about an hour including lubing everything a replacing a bracket. Cost was $449. I was pleased with the experience and would hire them again.

Fantastic! I knew what the problem was so asked for an estimate on the phone which was the best of a few. They arrived within a few hours of my initial call. Tony was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain a few of the issues, and took CoVid precautions which were appreciated. I ended up having to get the same thing done on both doors and I received favorable pricing on the additional work. I had a few bolts missing and areas needing lubricant and Tony did all that as part of the job. I was extremely pleased. I have had three different garage door repair companies out in the last four years for various issues but will call these guys next time I need something.

They came promptly when scheduled. They did a first rate job of installation. I also had them install new guide wheels in the runners on both doors. They were done in a little over two hours, after which they cleaned up the garage and took the old opener with them. Excellent work. They really knew what they were doing, and were courteous and helpful (not to mention very patient with all my questions).

They are awesome! My spring broke on the garage door, and they came right out late on a saturday afternoon. The spring was still in warranty, and they honored that no questions. They are the best garage door company around, and I absolutely will use them again.

Perfect, Mike did great from arrival to exit. Didn't know we had a button on the inside to exit garage. We always made sure to have a remote with us. Motor replacement, warranty and labor, during our COVID social distancing. Added keypad and all smooth again!

Great, they arrived on time and work went well, less than two hours. II would hire them again. Two men worked almost without communicating, you could tell they knew what they were doing.

They were very good, they came out the same day and had all of the parts in stock and it only took an hour to complete work.

Replace garage door opener springs

After requesting a quote via Angie’s List for a broken coil replacement, I received a call back within a few minutes from First Call Garage, who were able to provide a quote for parts and labor, as well as schedule a time that was very accommodating to my schedule. Mike showed up at my residence right on schedule, was flexible with a tricky parking situation, and had the broken parts fixed very quickly. I had both of my garage doors replaced and we ordered new doors through First Call. Michael came out to the house and we reviewed the various door options available. When they came in, Michael and his team came and installed them. Very professional and they accommodated some special requests I had without any additional charge. The doors have been great and no maintenance issues. Also had Michael come out a different time and replace a defective opener. Also a great experience and again did some extra items without additional charges. You will not go wrong in calling First Call.
