Chem-Dry by Ardis

Ardis is the person that I deal with. Their price is very reasonable and they do it by the hour. They do excellent steam cleaning and they don’t use shampoo or water. It’s all dry chemical cleaning. They do furniture and carpet. They do spot cleaning. They are very good and I’ve been using them for years. The workers are very professional. If I request some spot cleaners to use it myself in my home, they’ll bring 2 cans of it and give it to me if they are in my neighborhood. They go above and beyond. They are really good about what they are doing. I’m happy with their price. I would continue to use them in the future.

The service was excellent. I recieved an email ahead of the scheduled service date that outline the process and cost. Two days before, someone called to confirm the appointment. I was also called when the technicians left for my house. They were about 20 minutes early which was great for me. Both technicians were professional, very careful moving equipment and furniture and worked hard the entire time they were at my house. They did the entire area in 90 minutes. I have a dog so the carpets get dirty quickly. After this service, they looked great.

I had used Chem-Dry in the past with good luck, this time.. not so much. The workers seems distracted ( one spent his entire time on his cell phone talking to his girlfriend about how he was going to quit this @#$%# job and go back to school). The major problem was that they didnt solve the problems. The carpet that they re-stretched still bunches up, the spots that they cleaned came back in about 6 hours and over all you could not tell that much had been done.

They were careful moving my stuff. They moved a recliner and a night stand. Since the bedroom was under the allotted square footage he also touched up my spare bedroom and area rug free. They did have a hidden charge that I did not know about until they arrived.

I scheduled an appointment with this company on 10/20 for their first available date of 11/1 at 9:00 am. I did not receive a confirmation call from them by the afternoon of 10/31 so I called them to confirm. They were running late due to traffic and called to let me know. Because I did not feel comfortable from my conversations with them that all furniture would be moved, we emptied the room of all furniture before their arrival. Since the room was empty, when they arrived (around 9:30) they got to work fairly quickly and were done cleaning the carpet in a little over an hour. They used a raking tool on the carpet to lift the tuft which I really liked and they sell...so I purchased one. The carpet looks almost new. I am pleased with the outcome.

We have been loyal to Chem Dry for over ten years because they do an excellent job, and they treat us well. The cleaners that are sent to our house have good training, and usually have a respectable amount of experience. The furniture is moved, and the dirtiest areas are scrubbed by hand, and then steam cleaned. The smell after the cleaning is very fresh, and it dries the same day it was cleaned.
