This is the second residential property I have owned that needed irrigation. The first system was installed in 2002. Ed's bid presentation far surpassed the other two contractors for product/parts research, fact based information and professionalism. The installation process was exactly as discussed - no surprises, no problems. Ed provided spring/fall maintenance and whatever minor adjustments needed until I sold the property in 2012. This year I needed another irrigation system installed on a different residential property. Even though I wanted to do business with Ed again, I considered two other bids as well. Ed's approach to the design details - careful assessment of the irrigation needs around the house perimeter, garden beds, etc. not only proved to be the most cost effective, but the best design with opportunity for flexibility for future adjustments - far surpassed the other bids. I gave Ed the contract with no regrets. Same song, second verse - the installation process went smoothly and in a timely manner. Ed was immediately available for any questions or minor issues - professional, reliable, knowledgeable. With the installation process complete, I am equally confident any future customer service needs for maintenance, service, adjustments will be handled with the same friendly exceptional skill and customer service. Without reservation, I give Ed an excellent rating - well deserved!

Due to ponding on my patio during heavy rains, I had Aqualawn place drainage on both sides of the house to drain to the street. A french drain was placed in the back with rock on top and the next day he came back and placed the grass back. He also tied two gutter downspouts into the drain. The owner, Ed, is very professional and he and his crew did a good job.

The original apt. was scheduled for Thursday 2/28. However, I had to cancel the appt. due to a personal emergency when Ed was ten minutes away. He was very nice about it even though he drives in from Richmond. I was able to reschedule for the next Tuesday 3/05 he was punctual and fast. He didn't charge me for the first trip although he could have (to be fair). Great Guy. My sprinklers work great!

Ed was extremely helpful in recommending a 5-zone sprinkler system for my sister's yard and landscaping areas. He was able to start this project in a timely manner. Aqualawn's crew arrive on time and completed the project in approx 1 1/2 days. They performed in a very professional manner, with excellent results to the installation. Explain the "how to" procedure before leaving, which was very helpful to a first-time user. Overall -- very professional and a job well done!!!! Considering using on a larger project in near future, and look forward to working with this team again!

Aqualawn did a great job. Installed on time and quickly and when later construction damaged the pipes, somebody was out that Sunday afternoon to fix it and didn't leave until everything was working properly. Great service and friendly.

The crew came in and accomplished the goal in 7 hours. They worked fast and neatly. The trenches are hardly noticeable. The system works great and overall pleased in the way the job was done. Also, a previous job of getting our existing system in the front yard has also turned out well. There are sprinklers working now that other companies were unable to get working. So, overall, very pleased.

The softener system and filter has worked flawlessly and the installation was excellent, pipes were insulated and everything was VERY professionally done. This has greatly improved our water flow in the house and removed a rust issue that we have always had. I could not be happier. The sprinklers have also been perfect. I used to replace 3-4 per season and digging them up was very labor intensive. The new ones are not exposed to the lawn mower and are less apt to become broken. Ed is professional and the nicest man around. I will call him again for some additional work. I rarely give all excellent but he deserves it!!!

The project went as planned. He did an excellent job. They ran into a few surprises underground but handled them just fine. We have had no problems since it was completed.

Our sprinkler system is very old and really needed help. Ed did a fabulous job fixing it up and it works like a charm now. We are hiring him back to do a water softener and filter for the rust and hard water issue in our house. He was professional, knowledgeable and thorough.

They were very careful while hand digging the trenches and replace the dirt and grass without permanently damaging the lawn. Sprinkler coverage is excellent and I am very pleased with the system. Ed Meyers supervised the job and came back a couple of days later to check that everything was OK and show me how to modify the programming if necessary. They were not the cheapest quote, but they they seemed the most professional and knowledgeable.

They were very professional. They did the work prompted and correctly, the price seemed pretty reasonable. They left everything as they found it. I would recommend them to others and use them again.

I called three companies to obtain quotes. All companies came out within 3 days of the initial phone call. The Aqualawn quote was in the middle of the three I received. Additionally, I found out that Aqualawn did the sprinkler system across the street 5+ years ago, which I have seen working day in and day out with no problems. The Aqualawn crew came out 2 weeks after I gave them the go ahead. They worked quickly and had the system installed and functional the same day. Additionally, the crew was nice enough to help me bury an additional 100 feet of PVC pipe in which I ran telephone and cable wire to a backhouse. After the installation, Ed Meyers, the owner came back to the house on a Saturday morning to train me on using the sprinkler controller. I am happy with the way the system works and the overall design. There is a relatively small amount of overspray and the plants we put in the yard are doing well.

I don't like to call contractors, as most are out in the field, and you end up leaving a message on an answering machine. I decided to request quotes by email only and submitted requests for bids to about 12 irrigation companies who had a posted email address. Of those 12, only 3 responded: one was too busy to send someone out to give a quote and asked me to fax them a copy of the lot plans so they could work a quote off of that! Another gave me a "cookie-cutter" low-ball quote. And, finally, Ed -- he responded promptly, showed-up when he promised, and was courteous and professional. I'm not an expert in this field but Ed seemed to know what he was doing and gave me a fair price. The work was done in one day and everything is working as expected.

The job was difficult, as we have very large, 50+ year old oak trees in the front and back yards. All digging was done by hand, and if any root was more than 1" in diameter, they tunneled under the root rather than cut it. They replaced the sod that was dug up, and even the day after installation, it was difficult to see where the work had been done. After a couple of weeks, it was impossible to tell where the work was done.
