Advanced Home Exteriors

I do a lot of research before hiring a contractor, even more so for a big siding job. I'll save you the time, go with these guys. They were the lowest bid, wanted the job (not in an aggressive way, just opposed to some contractors that would barely text back), were quick and responsive, and had good office support. They had their ducks in a row, got on the job quick, did a great job, and were accommodative of my concerns. I'll use them again for any siding jobs on my other rentals.

Everything went well! Professional crew, quality work, cleaned up all the construction mess on their way out.

I had a unique problem in that my house was built in the '60's and the wood siding is a specially milled board that is no longer available. Since I only wanted to replace the siding that was rotten, the issue of matching the existing siding was important to me. After considerable discussion, I decided to go with the Hardie Artisan Lap Siding, which is considerably more expensive than Hardie-Plank, but it is thicker and the corners can be mitered. The crew did a fantastic job of installing this product on my dormers and is as close a match to the other existing siding as I could have hoped for. The siding on the garage is board and batten, and was rotten for about 4 or 5 inches up from the ground. I didn't want to replace all of it, so they cut off about 9 inches from the ground all the way around and installed two 1 X 10"s with Z flashing around the perimeter. Looks great. The rest of the work was new facia and gutters, and painting the house and garage. The crew that did the work on my house was first-rate. The crew leader was Rudy, and I would recommend this crew without reservation.

The job went without a hitch. Kelly was responsive to our questions before we started. David and his crew were hard working and efficient. The finished result - new hardiplank soffits, fascia and siding - surpassed what we expected. The house looks wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The project went very well. Our rep Kelly listened to us and prepared his proposal based on our wishes and never tried to impose unwanted services. He informed us what would happen at each stage of the project. The crew was also terrific, kudos to their team foreman, Rudy? for running a smooth project and his responsiveness to our inquiries/wishes, he kept us informed of any unexpected issue that might arise. The crew was prepared for this project, each worker appeared to know their role and were skilled in performing it. They worked well as a team. The crew cleaned up daily and left our home in perfect shape at the end of the project. Unlike most contractors, Advanced Home Exteriors did not charge me a penny until the project was completed to our complete satisfaction. I wish every contractor was as competent and customer centered as Advanced Home Exteriors. I recommend them fully: Competitive price, highly skilled workmanship, customer centric in fulfilling this customer’s expectations (actually they overachieved on this project.)

I highly recommend Advanced Home Exteriors for Siding Projects (Kelly Smart 832-363-3772). We are very happy with the results and workmanship from an extensive siding project. We were also very happy with the crew and project process. The project included all siding including eves, and nearly all wood on the house. I have found no issues with the sliding work and the precision of the cuts and joints is excellent. They also found and corrected some issues with the original construction including electrical code issues and missing support braces. It is an expensive project, but we are happy with the value and it is nice to know we with not have rotting wood to worry about in the future with the Jame Hardie Plank siding. If I were to do it again, I would be more careful with some decisions on a few of the non-siding elements and gutters, but I would definitely work with Kelly and Advanced Home Exteriors again.

Advanced Home Exteriors was a fantastic company to work with. From the initial quote to the completion of work there was always an open line of communication. The crew was awesome. They were very good about asking specific questions when needed. The crew worked late everyday and cleaned up the equipment and debris as needed. Our house looks brand new and we couldn’t be happier with the work.

It is a refreshing change to have a company that you can trust work on a major project. I have been burned before by my A/C replacement project with a company that tries to offer you the world then leaves you high and dry when things start going awry. Not only is this company confident about their work (they didn't require down payment), there's no shady practices. They even go the extra mile to help you with unforeseen problems like when I needed rerouting of my A/C copper line. They provided a roofer to open up and patch up my roof for my A/C guy to complete the project instead of grabbing the opportunity to do another project with me as I was willing to have my roof replaced. Everything went really well. My point of contact, Kelly Smart, was incredibly responsive to my many questions during the estimate phase as well as when the work was being done. The crew left the work site very clean; I only ever found a couple of nails after all of that work.

They are a well-run company. Kelly came out and gave us a quote, which thoroughly spelled out what was going to be done, and he kept us updated on when the work would start. Rudy and his crew did an incredible job installing the new Hardie Plank siding, as well as painting it - no streaks or over-spray on the brick. The crew installing the gutter system also did a great job. The exterior of the house looks like new again, I have received several compliments from neighbors on how nice my house looks. I highly recommend Advanced Home Exteriors.

Kelly and his team did an outstanding job on our project. We have an older house that still had mostly original masonite siding, fascia, and soffits. We also had all of our gutters replaced. We decided to go with HardiePlank as opposed to some of the other popular siding materials out there, but we wanted to make sure the job was done right. Kelly and his team are HardiePlank artisans. The level of craftsmanship shown on the project was oustanding. They were quick (job was completed in 3 days), polite, and brought everything that needed attention to me promptly. I would highly recommend Advanced Home Exteriors to anyone looking for top quality Hardie Plank installations.

Everything went better than expected!

I have called Advanced Home Exterior several times and nobody answers the phone. I also left messages and never got a call back. My email has not been answered either. I wonder if this company is still running or not. I ended up hiring another company to replace all my soffit, fascia and roof.

The experience was great from start to finish. Kelly was extremely knowledgeable super patient with all of my questions of which I had many. Rudy and his crew were artists. Great job on the house, workers were polite and confirmed all steps to the project prior to beginning, and kept us appraised of what was happening at all times.

The young man they sent out to do the estimate was concise, precise, and informative. The people when they came out were on time. They worked until they finished the job, and when they finished the job they left, they didn't come and go. They, you know, over the week or two that they worked, they didn't have other jobs, they just worked on my job. They were professional and efficient, and they did a tip-top job. They did an exceptionally good job. I was very pleased. It took them ten days, two weeks, somewhere in there, to complete the work. I actually got two different bids, and I chose these people based on the person that came out, and they were less expensive than the other one, which was a surprise. In other words, I didn't choose them based on the price. I chose them based on how I felt about them, and Angie's List recommendation. So that was a very pleasing factor, that they were actually less the other people. Price wasn't a principal concern for me. It was good. I don't think of grading the price; I think of grading the work.

Fantastic! Advanced Home Exteriors took all old siding off and put insulation as needed and replaced damaged boards, took off lighting fixtures outside, and put them back, painted the exterior with 3 color scheme. Could not be happier!

It went very well. They were on budget and on time. The workers were tidy which is important since there were lots of moving parts to this remodel. They checked on us a week or so later to make sure that everything was up to our liking, and it was better than we could of hoped for. :-)

Outstanding job. My house was built in 1978 and the siding was in very poor condition. Paul Watson came out for the initial assessment, measured everything, and provided a detailed quote within 24 hours. Every little detail that we discussed was covered in the contract (i.e. keeping rodent proof vent covers installed previously). Paul was there every morning (4 days) keeping track of the progress / QA. He was very helpful throughout the entire process. David was the crew leader for this job and he was great to work with as well. Fortunately there weren't too many hiccups during the original siding removal, so no major structural work needed to be done. The old insulation I had was blown in and settled - not very effective anymore. I decided to replace all of it with new standard pink fiberglass insulation. The old insulation removal was a mess, but the guys made quick work of it. The few areas of concern (i.e. a few water damaged studs) were pointed out and addressed quickly. The only thing they could've done better was the final clean-up. There were a few water bottles left in the shrubs, and I'm still seeing some of the old insulation here and there around the house. It didn't take me long to pick up the leftovers and overall, I'd give them a B for the clean-up. Advanced Home Exteriors did an amazing job for me and I would recommend them to anyone. They specialize in HardiePlank materials and that was what I went with given this Houston climate. They weren't my lowest quote, but after meeting with several competitors, I felt most comfortable with them. All of their positive reviews here turned out to be 100% valid in my experience. It feels awesome not having to worry about my home exterior anymore, and the place looks brand new. I cannot imagine the quality of work being any better.
