Able Sprinkler & Services

The crew arrived within minutes of calling the house and went right to work, replacing a sprinkler and replacing four other heads. They were courteous, efficient, and very reasonably priced.

They did a great job. They were reliable, courteous, and willing to do a small repair at a reasonable price.

Discovered a water leak near a sprinkler head. I dug around the sprinkler head to determine location of leak. To my surprise I discovered that there were 7 pvc water lines installed in the same underground channel/trench(on top of each other). The main irrigation line was leaking(joint fitting connection) and was underneath the other 6 pvc lines. I called Able Sprinkler Services and spoke with the owner. He stated an approximate cost for the service. He promptly arrived at my house and evaluated the situation. Upon examination of the pvc pipes he noticed that primer had not been used on the joint-fittings for all 7 pvc lines. He stated that he could repair the leak and it was up to me if I wanted to repair the other joint fittings for preventive measures. He gave an repair estimate for all pvc lines. It was very fair and reasonable. Before beginning the repairs he explained fully what he was going to do and why. He had an assistant. His work reminded me of a surgeon. He was meticulous from start to finish. While cutting out sections of the tubes where the joint fittings were, he showed me how the original installer had neglected to use primer with glue in the joint fittings and had not firmly inserted/butted the tubes together. After completion of the work, the only area where you could tell where someone had been digging was where I had originally dug(tore up the grass). He is a perfectionist. He tested the system before leaving. I asked him about my rain sensor not working properly and he inspected it as well as the control box to determine cause of problem. He gave me suggestions about the rain sensor and how to resolve that issue. He was correct about the problem. I discovered that the original installer had incorrectly wired the sensor. Money saved. I highly recommend Able Sprinklers and Services and will be using them in the future if additional problems arise.

The gentlemen from Able Sprinkler and Services were fantastic to work with and their pricing was very reasonable! They showed up for what was a basic troubleshooting service call and before they left they had addressed all my issues and concerns and I now am confident my irrigation system is working properly and I am more knowledgeable because of the time they took to explain the cause of my issues. I highly recommend them and will use them or any future service requirements!
