We hired Ingram Architects to come up with a home addition plan. Richard was very prompt and communicative with the different changes we made to some of the plans. My wife and I look forward to continue working with Richard on future projects.

During the process Mr. Ingram did not provide much assistance with feedback as far as recommendations for the floor plan. We had to make the final edits to the floor plan he provided. His customer service was lacking. Once he got his money for the full contract he was no longer readily available for us to contact him. He took it upon himself to recommend a foundation that was not what we asked for. When he did change it, it became unrealistically inflated in price and he refused to work with us further. He failed to follow through on his contractual agreements. This has been a bad experience and has also stalled our timeline for building our house.

"First of all, Vanessa E. [Consumer name withheld at their request] was not our client! Her significant other, Chris G.[Consumer name withheld at their request], was our client. Secondly, we paid, OUT OF OUR OWN POCKET, to have his foundation redesigned. Third, we have, on record, 3 different licensed structural engineers that have advised against the type of foundation they requested, yet they insisted we have it re-designed per their "concrete contractor's" preference! Because this type of foundation "is NOT recommended", they slab had extra steel added to accommodate the potential soil issues for the North Texas area and this client did not like this fact! At this time IALLC has refused to work further with this client because of FALSE & LIBELOUS statements posted here on the Home Advisor site and we have even considered litigation to recoup monies lost to try and help this client! Thank you to all our reasonable and repeat customers out there! You guys are what make our business worthwhile! I hope and pray that all the difficult folks out there, like Ms. E.[Consumer name withheld at their request], will find peace in there lives!"
