In reply to Mr. Brezina's reply:
We will need to pray for Mr. Brezina harder than we already do, if he really believes the lied he has stated in his reply to my complaint. First of all, I encourage you to re-read my original complaint and see how many items Mr. Brezina ignored. As for the items Mr. Brezina did mention in his reply...
Mrs. Brezina worked on our home with Mr. Brezina between surgeries. We saw her operating the table saw several days, framing.
As for our children helping, that is true. They helped with a little scrubbing and sweeping. However, they were OUR teen children working on OUR home, not youngsters from one of is "crew".
A quoted $50k job that turs into an over $100k job cannot have very many discounts. Furthermore, Mr. Brezina's $50k original quote included items not included in his $40k in invoices. The flooring ($15k), air conditioning ($20k), 2 tubs, 3 showers, 4 vanities, 4 sinks, 4 faucets, 4 toilets, lighting and ceiling fans throughout the entire house, mirrors for 4 bathrooms, 2 exterior doors, exterior french doors, 2 interior doors, intererios and exterior door locks and knobs throughout, kitchen sink and faucet, we had to pay in addition to the $40k in his invoices.
Mr. Brezina's painter damaged the kitchen cabinet finish to such a degree (he was supposed to refinish the cabinets), we could not affort to pay someone to try to re-do the finish, so we had to have the cabinets painted. I despise painted kitchen cabinets.
The painter also used inferior materials when taping and bedding the drywall, as cracks are appearing at each and every new dry wall seam.
Mr. Brezina was angry when we agreed to let our pastor help mediate the case. Our pastor told Mr. Brezina to review my summary of work paid for but not done, and items paid for but never installed. This is the "document" to which Mr. Brezina is referring. Mr. Brezina addressed only a few items in that document. There are still the matters of repairing/replacing/re-doing damage and/or poor workmanship, as well as the theft.
As for the wall buckling, Mr. Brezina never even saw the problem since he refused all contact attempts and all warranty promises. Both the foundation and structural engineers state it is not a foundation issue. They say it is mr. Bresina's shoddy workmanship. I have photos of the interior of the wall when we hired another workman to repair the wall. It is clear Mr. Brezina id not put in enough support beams, and the beams he did put in were too short to serve any functional purpose.
As for the theft, those "large sprinkler heads" to which Mr. Brezina refers were electronic, golf-course-size heads worth $500 each. There were 40 of them. Also stolen were five city-size copper water main Tee connectors worth $2,000 each, and three city-size iron flange fittings worth $500 each. There was an eyewitness who saw Mr. Brezina's workman committing the crime in question. The only reason an arrest has not been made is vecause the thief promptly fled the state. Of course this grand theft felony is still open, as "finding someone guilty" can only be done in a court of law, and if the perpetrator cannot be found a case cannot be brought before the court.
The theft is still on Mr. Brezina however, as it was he who hired the perpetrator, and had Mr. Brezina never brought the perpetrator to my home, the perpetrator never would have known about the items. Furthermore, Mr. Brezina said he had never before worked with the perpetrator, and had no contact information for him. Before we hired Mr. Brezina, he told us every person he hires he works with on a regular basis. That turned out to be not true.
Mr. Brezina is proud of the fact he has never quit a job. After eight months, way over budget, and less than half the job complete, it was clear to us Mr. Brezina was asking to be fired so he could continue to tell prospective customers that he has "never quit a job".
Mr. Brezina has injured our family unimaginably. He will have much explaining to do when he meets his maker. I would hate to be in his shoes.

Response from BonDel Enterprises Inc
"In Response to her claims. There is quite a large back-story to this case, but I will try to sum it up. Since they were fellow parishioners of the same church, we tried to help them with the house they purchased. The house was in extreme disrepair, but yet still salvageable. I use subcontractors on all of my jobsites, and this job was no exception (foundation, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.). To defray costs, some of the work was done by myself and some friends/mutual acquaintances of the theirs. She stated that my wife was on my 'crew' and she framed a wall. That is an inaccurate statement, or fabrication. My wife could not perform any construction as she had two total knee replacements in 2012. She and her children also helped in whatever area they could, once again to keep costs down. We have approximately 40k in invoices and those were generously discounted. The rest of the amount of what she is claiming, they spent themselves. As he was unavailable, we tried to reconcile with her to no avail. In order to come to a fair and peaceful resolution, we agree to mediation with our pastor. I have documents stating exactly what they wanted refunded. I refunded them everything they asked for and also wrote off an additional $1300. I was no way bound to enter mediation. Their buckling issues are due to their house settling after the foundation repairs, as many houses do, and they were made aware of this. Many of her complaints seem to be the result of her expecting a job in progress to look like a completed project. As far as the theft issue, there were some large sprinkler heads that went missing out of her detached garage during a weekend when none of my workers were present. She failed to mention that they had a large landscaping company leasing out the back of their property with workers frequently coming and going. As I understand, the Sheriff's report is still an open case and they have not found anyone guilty of theft. In my 25 years in the industry, I have never failed to complete a job to my customer's satisfaction and can provide many references upon request. I wish the family the best in their endeavors, however, this case just could not be reconciled."

We removed the old flooring and Paul installed the new flooring. We provided the tile and laminate flooring so the money spent was for labor and incidentals. He did a beautiful job with the backsplash and ceramic tile. The tiles are all evenly spaced and done just like we wanted. He also did a terrific job on the laminate flooring. It really makes the living room look great. He's very amiable. Put up with a lot of my questions and offered helpful advice.
