we needed our chimney cleaned

It was an awful experience. Steven did the work, however, he spent most of his time trying to up-sell me additional services. I appreciate being told when I need repairs but he lied about the need to seal the space between my chimney and roof (for $700!). I know because I had this repair done several months ago. I said no because I couldn't afford such a high price. He offered to drop it to $500. He asked me to throw away some broken glass that was in his work bag. He said it was from his last job. I threw it away. He asked me if I live alone (red flag for women!). He said my fireplace has cracks in the mortar and it would be very dangerous because a fire could ignite the insulation behind the fireplace. There are no cracks. Just another lie to try to get more money. When he left, he dumped a large pile of broken glass on my driveway and sidewalk. It was similar to the shards of glass he asked me to throw away. Never use this company!!
