My first experience with TileLand and it was exceptional!  Workers were very professional and knew what they were doing at every step.  No training, no guessing, no hoping they got it right.  True professionals which is sadly hard to find these days. Pete and Noel were both very helpful, fair, and kept the project on track.
Sergio may be the best tile guy on the planet. (and I've had some good tile people before)  Fast, but very precise, he laid out the floor tile on a diagonal and kept it perfectly straight, level, and every cut was dead on.  The fireplace is a masterpiece that covers 80+ sq/ft and is nothing short of mastery with straight lines, even spacing, and outstanding craftsmanship.
Tile Land was not the low bid.  They were 3rd place on price, but absolutely worth the extra few bucks.  They will be my first call for phase II of our remodel project.  A++

Everything went very well.

Pete's crew arrived on time and removed the current floors, plus did the demo work in the the kitchen and bathroom. The laid new ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. They laid engineered hardwoods in the living areas and hall. All work was completed in a timely manner and was well done. Two years later, the floors still look brand new.
Tileland is reliable, reasonably priced and work was completed in a timely manner. I shopped several big box stores prior to meeting with Pete, so I had a clear picture of what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. Pete met the material prices of the discount / big box stores and was competitively priced on installation and labor.
We were so impressed with the work done in 2011 that we have just re-hired them to do another remodel on a house we just bought. We will update after that job is completed.

was willing to work within my budget. the job was sub-contracted out, however, everyone that they used was prompt, very professional and knowledgeable about what they were doing. everything worked like clockwork. from tearout to install, along with disconnect and re-connect of plumbing. the challenge for the flooring is that we're on pier and beam, which can create a problem with someone who doesn't know what their doing, however, everything went smoothly. i would definitely use them for my next project.

Tileland did make an additional visit to rectify the mistakes. They did not offer to re-do the job and we would not have wanted to have endured the mess involved in correcting the errors.

I stopped into Tile Land several times in order to pick out granite and get ideas for tile and such. Pete there is just wonderful. He was always super helpful and courteous to me--even when super busy. Initially, we had picked out a very inexpensive dark granite (Verde Peacock), and paid a deposit on it, but after my husband and I ended up choosing much darker kitchen cabinets than we had originally thought we would go with, we needed to change granite. I went and saw Pete and it was no problem. He didn't even charge us a fee even though he had ordered in the slab of Verde we were to use. I had a hard time choosing the new granite so I ended up going to the granite yard to pick out a slab--and fell in love with a style of granite that was 3 times more expensive per square foot (Delicatus White). Pete kept trying to keep me out of the exotic slabs to keep me in budget, but I wouldn't pay attention to him...and luckily my husband also loved the new slab and we were able to purchase it.
Because our kitchen remodel was taking longer than anticipated, once we were ready for granite we asked how long it would take and Pete managed to get us our granite installed within 1 week.
The installation of the granite was not as smooth as I had hoped. There were a few measurement problems (maybe due to the cabinets in retrospect) and I was unhappy with the amount of overhang on the front of some areas as well as how the granite composite sink was installed, but after contacting Pete, he had the crew come back out and fix everything to my satisfaction--and even hired another crew to install a sink brace at no charge to me. The crew even made a beautiful window sill for me for my kitchen window and did not charge me for the fabrication. WOW!
My experience with Tile Land and Pete is definitely an A all the way. While the installation was a little rough--I understand things don't always go smoothly, but the fact that all my concerns were dealt with and remedied so quickly allows me to maintain the A rating over all. I say this especially because 'Delicatus White' granite is known to be a bit dangerous to install (chips easily due to mica inclusions) yet it looks perfect.

Great. They had a great selection of tile and countertop options at a great price. Installation was professional, on time and great quality. They dealt well with changes or surprised that occur during installation (like the fact that our floor was not level in the bathroom).
