It went better than I expected. They came with equipment and removed the dying tree, and planted both saplings.

They were fine. They were professional. Couple hours to complete.

The price has increased a little over the years, but not much difference. I have four big trees and they have to climb up into the trees. They grind up the branches and pick up the twigs and stuff. They clean up after themselves.

They did fine, a Good Job. The price was competitive, and they did it when they said they would.

They are excellent.

Davy Tree does excellent work.  The only down side is the price.  But I guess you have to take the good with the bad.  I would use them again.

They did so well that I wrote a letter to them and asked them to please give it to the three Hispanics who worked in our yard.  I don?t know if they gave it to them or not.  I thought those guys don?t probably get a lot of compliments because they don?t speak English very well.  I speak Spanish so I wrote a letter and asked them to give it to the three men and I sent three copies of it.  We had them three years in a row and they have done a fine job every time.   

I think they are a little high on their price.  They are very professional.

Too soon to tell if this solves problem with live oak where leaves are not coming in on top of tree.

Have been using Davey Trees for 10+ years to manage mature trees on our property.  (Home built in 60's) Customer service is A+::  A live person answers your call, polite, knowledgeable, sets up appointments for estimates or service needed.  Never had a problem with representatives showing up when scheduled.  On this occasion, a 3-man crew cut down a large mulberry which ended up being a 2-day job.  The guys were Hispanic, very polite, professional, worked hard & spoke good English.  They cleaned up all the property on both days before they left.  No issues.
The trees on our property are very important to us.  We have used less expensive tree companies, but we trust Davey's advice, expertise & professional service.

Excellent responsiveness and service. Free estimate and advice, with no pressure to purchase services. In fact, we were relieved to find that our damaged tree would be fine with nothing more than simple pruning and feeding. The deep-root feeding and pruning were done on time as promised. The crew who pruned cleaned up perfectly. Our trees were thinned just as requested, and we were relieved that the thinning with sufficient without being overdone. I can recommend Davey Tree without reservation!

The salesman came out within about 10 minutes of my call.  He gave me an estimate which I approved and we set an appointment to begin the work.  He was very professional.  I was pleased he also brought with him a Certificate of Liability.  However, they are NOT bonded as indicated on Angie's List.   He also told me they did have a 5% senior citizen's discount which is not mentioned on Angie's List either.  The crew was supposed to arrive between 7:30 and 8:00  in the morning.   I am retired and don't usually get up that early so I set the alarm for 7:00.  The salesman called about 8:45 or 9:00 and said they had a crew problem and asked if it would be alright if they came around 11:30 or 12:00.  I told them that would be OK however they actually didn't show up until about 2:00.   Once they started the work, they did a wonderful job.  They brought a wood chipper and cleaned everything .  You couldn't tell they had even been here.  I was also pleased they used pruning paint on those larger branches that were removed.

They come out yearly. They come out every year to trim trees. When I started with the price seemed fair and it has not changed.

We have used Davey for a number of years to provide routine maintenance on our large oak trees. Our experience this time was the same as it has been every time. The office staff was courteous and efficient. The estimator came when he said he would. The work was performed as promised and for the price promised. The debris was hauled away and the yard left as it was before they came. This is a good service.

It was fine. They did what they were hired to do and they did it well.

We had the appointment for that Tuesday and they showed up to work and did the job as requested. The crews supervisor continued to work while they went to lunch. They were open to my requests (which were minimimal) and completed what needed to be done. In addtion all the area was cleaned up as though nobody had ever been there. I have used Davey Tree service for a number of years and always find them to be professional and fair.

They usually respond within a day or two, & I appreciate that when I call I can talk to a live person.

their field crew dropped several large branches on our roof instead of lowering with a rope. also damaged shrubs with falling branches. Also, did not clean debris off roof after completing the trim process.

They arrived when they said they would, did a great job pruning our tress and cleaned up so well you would never know that they had been there if it weren't for the trees being well groomed.

I am overly pleased with this company. I was so impressed on how well they cleaned up and how well the area where the trees were looked when they were finished. They did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable as well.
