They explained what their services were, used a satellite image of my house to give me an estimate, and went over the options with me. The provided a quote that was a bit more expensive than some of the others, but everyone I had talked to that had used them before said their quality was top notch. They took three days to replace my fence (one for tear down, two to build), then sent someone out a while later to stain it, though they never explained that it would be a few weeks between "finishing" the fence and staining it. It looks great and seems quite sturdy. This was during the winter, so my sprinkler system was not operating. Then springtime came and I turned my sprinkler system on. While digging the hole for one of the posts, they cracked one of my irrigation pipes. In May they said they'd fix it. I've contacted them several times and still no repairs. I'm now having to pay a more reputable company to have my sprinklers repaired.

We and our neighbors were in desperate need of a fence after major storms blew our fence down. The next door neighbors found a contractor first, and, originally, we were just going to use the same contractor they did. However, it quickly became evident that the contractor they hired was not going to be in any hurry, so we hired Texas State Fence instead. We weren't happy about the fact that it would cost more, but, in the end, we are SO glad we paid more for Texas State Fence, they were worth every penny! We had the unique experience of seeing our neighbors fence (part of which we shared with them) installation experience happen at the same times ours did. We quickly learned that not all fences or fence companies are created equally. Here are the differences I found between the two experiences/companies: 1) Installation time - We hired Texas State Fence weeks after our neighbors hired their contractor; however, our fence was completed long before theirs was even started. 2) Dependability - Texas State Fence gave us specific dates/times when they would install the fence. They showed up exactly when they said they would and they finished in the time frame they gave us, which was two days. The other contractor constantly set new dates and then would not show up. Some days they would show up and only work for a couple of hours. The neighbors' fence installation ended up taking weeks rather than days. 3) Quality - The fence we share with our neighbors reflects the difference in quality between Texas State Fence and the other guys. I am attaching a photo reflecting both fences side-by-side which reflects a noticeable difference (in the photo: the "other guys" fence on the left, Texas State Fence on the right). Texas State Fence told us from the beginning that they only work with high-quality materials and that is why they cost more. After seeing the evidence myself, I believe it. The neighbors fence that was completed by "the other guys" has many knots in the wood and does not look nearly as nice. Also, the "other guys" only dug 24" for the cement for the poles, Texas State Fence dug 36", so we have a much sturdier fence. We paid a few hundred dollars more than "the other guys," but we got a much higher quality fence and in a much shorter period of time. I highly recommend Texas State Fence and would definitely use them again.

We were very pleased with Sean's responsiveness, and impressed with his estimate, which included a satellite view of our house and the fence drawn in. Sean also helped with material selection, and we are very happy we followed his suggestion to put in wrought iron. He came in right on budget, and the fence looks beautiful! We definitely recommend him and will call him again when we are ready to put in a drive through gate.

They were very good. We spend a couple grand for the fence and the patio cover. Sean has excellent customer service skills and I would use him again in a heartbeat.

They have estimated $2500 for the material alone the labor is extra. They are starting the installing today so they are definitely on a timely fashion. They are not a local company.
